  3. my dream car would be the Dodge Viper big american car that probably wont go round corners  But i like the look of it.
  4. Hi, I just paid my memebership using paypal. Regards Steve
  5. Dont bother fitting lambos, not worth all tha hassel, i tried to fit them on my last car, NEVER AGAIN, they dont fit properly even if it does say "direct bolt on, no cutting or welding required" absolute rubbish. Even when I did manage to get them on the car, the door shot up like there was no tomorrow, if anyone was opening the car from the inside they would be shot out of the car! I took them off the car after a week. wouldnt buy them again. Thats my opinion anyway. Steve

I had NOS in my coupe, made a massive improvement, the only thing about NOS is that it runs out, My coupe was a 2ltr, and I had a 60bhp shot put in, had it running for 8 months before I got rid of it, never had any problems, and never had to upgrade any engine parts, or even change spark plugs. I had mine to come in on full throttle, (non of that button pushing crap). I think if your after big gains at CHEAPER costs then go for NOS, but remember it will cost you £30-£50 to fill up a bottle which probably wont last more than 10 runs on a 1/4 mile strip if that. The main gains on NOS are not Bhp but in torque, and thats whats important. found this on the net about NOS, shows just how good it is. NOS Steve
  7. Red Zed, at the traffic lights in blackfen.?? Steve
  8. I took my zed to the local shopping centre today, and when I parked it up, a child, about 7 or 8 said to his dad: "wow, look at that car dad its well nice" the dad says: "yeah its a nice car" Kid says: "Yeah look dad, its got 4 exhaust! I bet it goes well fast!!" Maybe if we stick on a few more exhausts they will go faster :hyper:
  9. Well it is 10 years old.
  10. Cheers for the advice I will give the zen garage a call. Jeff - I never saw the post that got deleted, but im sure it was a funny comment after seeing some of the "other" posts on the forum :D no harm in a litle laugh as you said. :smw: Cheers Steve
  11. Hi Guys, Got my Zed last week, im very impressed with it and am loving every moment in the car. As its an old car (94 plate), even though it has a full service history, I want to put it into a garage to get it serviced, as i think this will save me money in the long run. At least I will know everything is good with the car and that i wont get any suprises. Im based in Orpington Kent, and was wondering where the best place to take my zed to, ive asked my local Nissan dealer and they said that they have a Hi-tech mechanic, but ive heard that its probably best to take it to a spcialist. So where would you recommend to take it? Cheers Steve
  12. Would be interesting to see what they quote you, my friend just did one and he has 1 yr NCB, came out a few hundred cheaper than me. Cheers Steve
  13. Yeah i heard that, elephant did say that they would give 1 yrs NCB on the 10month policy if i decided to go to another insurere, but i decided that it was probably best to go for the 12 month policy. The price they give on the net is is you pay it all up front, you will need to call them if you want to pay monthly.
  14. Yeah thats in my own name, ive got 0 NCB, but ut was a 3pft quote, it was about £1550 for fully comp. Also try adding your parents to the insurance policy as named drivers, that seems to bring the quote down. Elephant to a 10 month bonus accelrator as well, which seems quite good. Steve
  15. Try Elephant.co.uk, im only 20 (21 on Thursday) and I managed to get insurance on a 94 UK 300zxTT for £1100, if you pay all up-front.
  16. I would be up for the meet, would be good to put faces to names. Steve
  17. its a Gun metal Grey one, ive only had it since Friday, but its sitting on my drive at the moment, the battery is flat  Im guessing that you have a Red zed.i will keep my eyes out 2
  18. Im not far from lessons hill either, im in Spring Shaw road, just off Midfield way.
  19. Cheers guys, looks like i have a couple of options. I will try it at the weekend. Steve
  20. was definately a Grey one at about 7:30am, where abouts are you Rob?
  21. Hi guys, Im gonna attempt to fit the audio equipment that ive got from my last coupe, and I was just wondering where the gromet is to run the power cable from the battery to the boot? Cheers Steve
  22. Thats ok none taken, i know alot of people blame it on bad road conditions, and the road that I crashed down is notorious for bad conditions aparently, i had never been down the road before, but aparently alot of trucks, and artics use the road constantly. I had an accident down it one week and someone did exactly the same the next week , went round the bend, the wheels hit the curb and launched me into a concrete fence, really bad expericen, plus the fact i cant remember actually going down the road or having the crash (i was unconsious (sp?)) i was lucky to have a friend in the car who was able to phone an ambulance for me, he luckily came out of the car fine. Its a real eye opener when you have a crash, and it taught me to be more careful down roads that i dont know. I worked out that I lost about £7000 on my coupe, and i sure didnt spend all that money on it to drive like a nutter and crash it. Now that Ive got my Zed im extra careful knowing how powerful the car is. I dont want to go through an experience like that again. Steve
  23. Its not always the young drivers with the fast/powerful cars that are the problems its usually the ones with the slow and underpowered cars that cause the problems. Ive had a 2ltr coupe since I was 17, ok ive had 2 accidents (im nearly 21), but not due to me driving fast or dangerously, my last coupe was running 220bhp (with NOS) and I crashed that down a country lane on a blind bend on oily roads. But in the past 3 years i find that the ones with the 1.2 clios and corsa's and Novas are the ones that drive like loonies, as they somehow seem to have to prove something. One kid i know has a 1.2 clio and he drives like a nutter, he once got caught doing 80 in a 30 zone and got let off. Also, the ones in smaller cars seem to want to push you to race on the roads (which really pi$$es me off) as i dont see the point of racing. So now when i get twats that drive up my arse on the road i just slow down  I dont need to drive fast to prove that I have a powerful car i know that I have a powerful car, and im not about to take a chance racing around to lose my licence, my car or even someones life. theres no point in it. Thats just my view on it all anyway. steve
