What wires should I run to a VG to make it work?
Can someone confirm for me which wires I need to run to a VGs EFI and Alternator loom to make it run? So, forget that the car and it's looms exist. The engine needs to run as though it's not even mounted in the car. I "Think" I need the 12v main live from battery to starter loom. ECU live. ECU Ground maybe? And then I need a live to make the starter crank. That will fire up the engine and it will run. is that right?

Will any Nissan Brake Master Cylinder fit a Z32?
Hey guys. What i need to know: Can I fit a Brake Master Cylinder (BMC) off a Skyline/S body to my car? Why: I need a none ABS BMC for my car, none ABS Z32s are rare and so are BMCs for them it seems The Reason for needing to know: Since removing my ABS and plumbing in my hydro I have really bad brake bias. I tried left foot braking last week while twinning and........... it didn't end well. I could fit an in-line bias valve. But this may be cheaper?

Different Diffs... I want to use my S body diffs on my na... why can't i?
R32: 4.363 S14: 4.083 S13: 3.9 :) even if they were all the same... drifters always need spare diffs bud :) Anyone?

Hey guys. Right... what with being a nissan nut for years I have sat in my shed: 1 S14 diff (I believe lsd) 1 R32 gtst diff (lsd) 1 s13 diff (open but welded) 1 s13 diff (??) ratios vary and seem to not be what the internet says. I wanted to use my S13 (open but welded) diff on my Z32 and went to fit it before my last drift day. The crown wheel assembly dropped in no problem and engaged with the input gear but the shaft flanges (so I could use the Z32 shafts) did not fit... no matter what i did. It looks like they are physically a different size. Now these are all R200 diffs, and I know people swap and change between S/R body diffs all the time. So it should be possible.... was my problem that it was originally an open type diff? or do i have other issues. I want to open up my ratio choices and make sure I have spares. I'm convinced that the welding done to lock the diff by my sponsor (Tees Vally MoT Centre - name drop!) is top notch... but diffs will always brake eventually in drifting. Please help guys! Someone must have tried fitting other nissan R200 diffs to a Z32 please note I have an NA... were not talking about turbo stuff at all

Looking to fit some noisy air filters... what do i do with the holes in the air feed?
It's not a dead end by the looks of it... it looks like it feed back into the airbox... I'll get photos. hard to explain judging by the mighty car mods episode and every NASP car I've had - i doubt i'd get nay hp... but maybe the position of the filters means i could. If im not going to get some grunty noise then tbh i'll just re-fit the OEM box

So I took my OEM airbox off tonight... I fancy fitting some noisy air filters if I can find some second hand (or even an adaption pipe as I have some filters in my loft) I took all the pipe work out from behind the front bumper which sits infront of the wheel arches The pipework runs a very odd path... i can get pics soon It seems that there is now a hole in the pipe from the Throttlebodies to where the AFM is... how will I block this? it seems very odd. NASP car btw

my plan is to go pedal box in the end. I have one in my loft a Tilton 2 pedal, but the bias adjuster is seized and i don't have any master cyliners... throw in the cost of brake lines and it'll have to wait :(

Where in the boot is the ABS module? I can't find it. but my BMC certainly has only 2 outlets If none ABS cars have 4 then they are totally different to R/S bodys

I may have to follow the lines..., I assumed it was ABS because I can only see 2 outlets from the BMC... on my skylines etc the ABS cars have 2 outlets and the None ABS cars had 3

I want to remove the whole system :) I don't like half a job bud and I'm removing everything not needed... I'm a bit picky lol! As above :) I'm sure mines a 94 NA... so it shouldn't be ABS? I wonder if I just "think" it is lol

Hey everyone. Quick question, were all Z32s fitted with ABS as standard? or were some None ABS? Looks like mine has it fitted and I will be removing it. If there is no None ABS model, then Im guessing I can use a None ABS BMC from a R33/32/S13/14 etc. They look the same. Worse case senario I'll have to run one outlet port to the fronts and one to the back with a bias adjuster. I only need to do this as a stepping stone to a cool mod. Please don't call me an evil minion of doom for not wanting ABS :) It's a drift car remember and trust me it's more dangerous to have it lol. Cheers

silicone coolant hoses. i need all of them, where can I get them from?
So, the only problem on my car is a leaky hose (I hope) The cars stood for 7 years so the rubber pipes are all cracked and weak. So silicone hoses for the win! Only issue ive got is that all the companys (sfs, samco etal) only list the big radiator hoses. I need them all. Any ideas? Ebay lists a set from china but that means waiting 3 /4 weeks. Also My car is nasp, it may be turbo one day. Are the hoses the same (apart from the turbo coolant lines)

Daft newbie question this but. Most forums (SkylineOwners.com, SXOC, GTROC etc) I'm on have project threads. I'm a total geek, I do all my own work and I love spending nightshifts reading project threads, getting ideas and learning about a new car. But I can't really find any here?

yeh but "About to give a good clean and a service to a mouldy zed thats kind of ok, but is probably going to need a few extra bits because it's sat for 7 years. Can you all help me? LOTS of questions" is a bit of a shit thread title. I've restored classic minis and a Triumph GT6. its a question of perspective. it needs brakes unseizing i think, a service of the engine, gearbox and diff, the bodywork all needs to be come off to be cleaned its that mouldy and the paint is shot. the interior has gone stale and there are bushes that need replacing... id say thats enough work to call it a restoration....

god im surprised. I've never herd it mentioned once by people on SXOC or at drift days. I do apologise! :) I've just removed my S13 handbrake to sell on to s14 peoples :) I think i'll fit a hydro to be honest, I have a handle. Just need a piston. I like drifting without one, but they can save you from walls and she is my daily after all (or will be!)
