Clutch (again... )
Same bleed procedure as slave cylinder but there was a bleed valve on the top of my master cylinder, bit fiddly to do in situ but possible.

Clutch (again... )
Sorry fixed it, had the rare 3rd bleed point on master cylinder

Clutch (again... )
Me again... Loads of problems throwing themselves up on the last home straight. Clutch is heavy but will go into gear with the engine off, engine on it's loose and won't go into gear. Do I need to bleed with the engine on?

Idle hunting
Idles like a champ but the power balance still looks dodgy, if it goes through the MOT I think la autos will be getting a visit

Idle hunting
Turned it on and off again now it's running fine, found one dodgy pipe that has split. Will check injectors now

Idle hunting
Started her up today ready to get her back on the road and she's hunting again, no split intercooler this time seems to be no vac leaks either. Conzult shows no error codes but on power balance test I have - 462 on rpm? Smells really bad too at the moment but no answer excess smoke? Something simple I hope? Thanks in advance. Here's it idling itself with no input from me.

Braided clutch line bleeding
That's what I did, it has a clutch booster?

Braided clutch line bleeding
Removed the slave and put the bleed valve at the top, seems to work now if not a bit stiff, but I don't have a seat in at the moment...

Braided clutch line bleeding
Just installed the braided clutch line from master cylinder to slave and I'm trying to bleed it. 2 man job, clear tube on bleed nipple on slave cylinder, pumping pedal and opening bleed then closing and releasing pedal and repeating. Still seem to be getting air and the fork isn't moving much with the pedal pressed am I missing something?

Removed the wing today...
Right screw it I'm going to do the work. I saw a blue 300zx go past with the targas out today whilst I was sat in the gt4 at buck barn traffic lights. Going to do all the rust, underseal and rust proof all of it then get it on the ramp just before it has its MOT as I know someone that would let me use it for a few hours. Going to reinforce the whole chassis so it'll be stronger than when it came out the factory.

Yeah, you can't trust accountants hey. Redwines post works on my pc now, links don't work on mobile. Hell of a lot of good work you've done there!

Removed the wing today...
Had my dad have a real good look over it take some measurements etc, looks like it is quite bent not 100% sure we'd be able to straighten it to the point where id feel safe driving it. I think me bottoming it out has revealed how badly it's been crunched before, chassis cracks, bent floor plan etc and without access to a ramp/pit is going to make repairing it interesting to say the least. Gonna have to have a bit of a think about this one...

Holy rust batman I've a bit of a lemon here... The 'repair' work that's been done is shockingly bad, rust inside all the inner sills and floor is dented. Anyone hungry for parts... No not yet!

Removed the wing today...
At least when I'm finished I'll know she's all straight and rust free, should have a decent example then.

Ebay zed with do luck arches

Unfortunately it's one of those things you can't really investigate without putting the car up on a ramp or removing body panels, it wasn't insurance declared either. It was up for sale for a while last year on here Si, being sold with suspected leaking turbo seals but it was just the PCV valves luckily. What wasn't in the description that she'd had her face rearranged at some point, shows how these cars can be a real handful in the wrong hands!

Removed the wing today...
Had her since November I think? Just not had much time to work on her, I have an ST205 as my daily which needs constant TLC too (snapped driveshaft on her last week) As the evenings are getting lighter I have more time to spend on the zed, she runs beautifully now that I've done the fmic and the pcv valves. I need to sort her out structurally and bodily, buy her some XXR 527s and some TRC and she should be back on the road for some summer cruising. Just hope there are no more hidden nasties!

Removed the wing today...
Ok so it's actually a little more sinister than it first appeared. I knew it has had a front end collision when I took the bumper off as the crash bar is missing and where it would mount is all bent. However looking under the car the chassis is also bent with a crack in it so that also needs repairing, it has had shitty repair work done all round which I need to spend some time sorting out.

What is this for?
Bloody good job you did too! My dad has been in body repair for years, the welding that's been done on my car so far is shit to say the least. I have the sill to do as well and a bit on the boot, the whole boot has had a crap respray and is bubbling.

Thanks :thumbup1:

What is this for?
On the left hand side of the engine bay bear the front, green pipe going to a brass block with a nipple on it. I have some rust behind it which I need to cut out and weld up, what does this pipe do and can I remove it?

What did you do to your zed today?
Changed passenger side pcv valve, attempted to start drivers side but is now pouring with rain... Found this not plugged in too, important?
