nice but nothing as spectacular as i had thought. imo the 300zx is still by far the superior design in terms of design and technology available at the time of manufacture.

well he (mark /mike the mechanic)says that he is able to "whip out an engine in 3 hours" and work on it on the bench. they initially had mine and i had a few dodgy cylinder head readings. (12 5 4 3 5 4)psi but the car was still firing and starting and idiling. is this possible ... i dont know. But then again mark/Mike is an expert on the zed engine cos he's been studying it for the past year and half. :nelson:

i do like the citreon dash but how would i go about fitting it into the zed? would a major amount of mods be required?

nice but not my cup of tea what about fibre optic ones which are totally blacked out until u turn the key. with ofcourse a FULL digital display. dont want much do i? ;)

An accident damaged car is always a damaged car something somewhere will not be right. better off breaking it. firstly cost of pannels scondly the cost of a respray etc etc.. better to sell parts off and buy another. i know a man who is looking for an engine and turbos ;) if you want to sell. pm me and ill give you my phone number. good luck with wahtever you decide to do :duffer:

WHAT 15-30K :shock: :shock: NO NO NO NO NO !!!! IM NOT THAT WELL OFF... slowly i think i very well may spend 10 -15k BUT i want to drive my car in between the stages where im upgrading. 1) ill replace the heads and at the same time i'll replace the stock pistons forged pistons (ready for future upgrades) is there any probs at this stage ie will i need other mods for doing this. 2) the tubs what do i need here? want to acheive 400 - 450 rwhp see at every stage of the upgrade i dont want one component to trigger of a numerous number of mods requirement so the budget spins out of control.

been there and had a quote inc delivery to the nearest port $1600 for a tt engine (VG30DETT) = £775 - £800 depending on the rate of exchange. add another 27.5% for tax and duty for a engine without gurantee on the tubs or any other external components...????? + 4weeks shipment wait. and you have to go and pick it up from the port. you cant just pick it up by hand . add all the expenses up. i say buy it from a reliable source from the zed club

what would you do to obtain a powerful but drivable zed i just cant wait anymore. i need to do the heads and turbos to get the car running.what to do??????

what do you mean "less drivable at low speeds" are you saying it will only be good for racing? and getting caught on speed cameras? so its a rethink AGAIN? :(

macca power lol, seriously i want a well built bullet proof engine that pis**s on R34's when i want to. dont ask for much do i? what do i need to do to put forged pistons in? i want the power when i need it but also want too be able to drive the damn thing safely as well
