  5. No what you mean but back up service second to none;) Been a vaillant customer since 1982 and we were there top 1 off domestic htg company in Bristol for 11 years but since they have had a prob with the ecotec+ :hurl: there back up is absolutely crap and i have dropped them like a stone.

Thats total *****x...........Main is a Baxi product no way would it be a rebadged worcester boiler Dipone.we fitted loads of main m/points but never touched any of there combis,they seem to have a good backup service,but my opion stick with worcester [never fitted halstead] we are fitting 5+ a week and have done since we dropped vaillant in febuary,and have had no probs at all Dave

  9. I was on my way home yesterday from exeter about 18.30 and passed a Black standard looking z in the inside lane, just before the burnham junction. I was in the outside lane in my z:tongue:

  12. Do not blow to hard as you can damage the aps (air pressure switch) that may not be faulty in the first place....check if any fluff or condensation is inside the tubes. If you find that you req any parts let me no and i will get them trade or you can pick up locally to you on my account;) Dave
  13. Would it be possible that he solinoid has packed up,would this cause the internal door lock handle not to move?
  14. Just came back in from mucking about with the,the lever lock on the drivers door is solid.....so might be my problem. Thanks vinnie for your swift reply may look like i have found prob. Off to remove door panel:)
  15. I had a power failure last week:confused: Car has been fine since i went over a lot of connections and tightened/cleaned them. But took the car out tonight and noticed when i walked away from the car,i does not lock. This is the 1st time i went to lock the car since the problem last week as i have a large integral garage and the car is always in there but never locked. I have owned the car for 6 years and have NEVER used a key to lock/unlock the car,and because of this they are seized:xxx: Any thoughts people?
  16. No not digital,but the picture seems to be a good idea,will see if i can do this friday. How do you know what to set it at..ie how much gas for a quid?????? you said your elec meter is set at 5.8
  17. Quick update for those who care:tongue: looked deeper into the battery connectors this afternoon and may have found my problem! The positive battery clamp has snapped at the bottom,[it is made up from 2 rings] and this poss could be my problem as i said. Made quick repair and took the car out for an hour...................seems ok! so have asked Mike feeney for cost of this and will replace as necessary. Thanks for the help and fingers crossed:D
