  5. Must definately so Alan sadly its not mine, its a mate of mine using my garage whilst he moves his 328 gts. 365 boxer and 400i around so we can remove the 355 engine to replace the belts:blushing: Its a lot easier to work on mate the back end unbolts and the engine comes out very easily, this is the second time we have done this to replace his belts. He is planning on selling this in the summer to get a 360, and they are easier to fit the belts onto as there is a removable panel behind the seats. I am seriously toying with the idea of upping my mortgage to buy the 355, its one of my all time fav cars, and to have it sitting 30 feet away from me right know is just :censored: Dave

  12. Two words "Silver Streak" Look how much Stuart put into that car! in money and blood sweat and tears. Blood sweat and tears dont come cheap but it makes one hell of a car. I know i now own her, the amount of money he put into that car [most of it documented in my hands] was amazing, and the end results shows this. The car is a real beast but at the time he put it up for sale no one [inc me] would not pay the price. He sold it for quite a lot less then he should have done in my opinion because it is always going to be labelled a 6.5k car [or less] and its worth a lot more then that. But saying that i could not get any interest when i put her up for sale for 6.5!!! As been said most of us know what our cars are worth but to get it...its a different matter. If the car has good club history and the work well documented its should be worth all the money, but probably only to anouther club owner who knows that particuler car. But as shown with Silver Streak any body outside the car club would not really know/appreciete what work and money that went into producing that car, so to get good money the car would really have to go to a club member [which it did twice] you would think anyway but it did not:confused:. So why is it that???? buggerd if i can answer it:tt2:
  13. Thanks guys your opinions count as always:yes: If my Mrs had her way she would have a 207 peugeot but i thought the mini would be a bit more fun! It has to be a small 4 str because of the 3 girls we have, and she is always darting about in the galaxy we have which is a pig in traffic and car parks....well according to the mrs:pinch: Dave

  19. CL 63 AMG i think thats the model 4 door saloon with sloopy back. Cut me up on the ring road few months back [did sound awsome] and chased him [red mist got the better of me] 1st and last time i hit the rev limiter:blushing: i could not put throttle right down as i would have rammed him doing a fair speed wont mention on here then he pulled to the left and i got on with it. Was shaking for about an hour after:lol:
