What is it with these cars:huh: Sold Silver streak and the wife's mgtf to sort out our debt probs I bleeted on about our family business struggling with the current economic situation. And what do i do Only buy back my yella z and put myself back in debt:blink::huh: But was it worth it.......................oh yes:thumbup: so the wife is pissed off with me and I now have a loan hanging over my head,but after the post by Bigdavezx about the sale of the car i just had to buy it back! You don't get many second chances in life, and no doubt I will probably regret this outcome if the wife makes my life hell, but I said to myself after the sale of the red 260z [which I still regret to this day] if I ever had a chance to buy back one of my cars I would try my best to do so. So i would like to say a BIG thank you to Dave who has kept the car mint and very well polished:punk: and safe ready for this day to come. What have I done:huh: Dave

Does any body know where to get a valuation carried out for insurance purposes? This company will not accept photos!! Cheers Dave

He has sorted the boost problem and is now running sweet on 19psi. He came around last week and the car looked lovely, weird isnt it that cars seem to look better when some one else is driving them:yes: Dave yes the car is still in Bristol and still in Downend [about a mile and a half from me]

Just to clarify a few things here i was never told that the number plate was yours Stu and i did have it apraised and told you if you wanted it i would knock off 50%! I am sorry that you feel this way i never set out to upset you:no: or ever misled you in any way, i posted here the results of the valuation and you never ever implied it should be yours anyways i am truly sorry. Thanks for all the kind words guys Matt just drove off in it and i feel quite gutted :crying: why do cars look so good when you are looking at it..... not out of it, cant get my head around that one! Always thought the way the car looked made me feel to old to drive it, but it looked flippin lush tonight and i hope i have made the right decision on this!! Off to have a few stellas now to see if it will lift me a little [en-fact having to many of these lately to give me a lift] So once again thank you for the support and i hope our economy picks up, and we and others in a similar position can get back on our feet and be happy again. Feeling a bit gutted the car sold tonight to a local guy so i will probably see her about [don't you hate that!] So thats the end of an era for me, having spent 23 years owning zeds thats it:sad: I have pointed the new owner to this site so hopefully the club hasn't lost Silver Streak but gained a new member. Hi guys, just sorting the little bits out on my car before i advertise it. I have purchased a correct steering wheel [one with no cruise] for the car and just went to swap it over and found they are quite different see pics My question is this can i fit this steering wheel [i think its an NA] and what do i need to buy for it to fit? The old one is the bottom one and the replacement one is above it [obviously]

I WOULD NEVER BREAK UP MY CAR UNLESS THE MORTGAGE DEPENDED ON IT So i hope the economy picks up, because no job with high mortgage repayments =:hang: Bloody banks etc we have in buisiness for 43 years and "NEVER" had to make redundances and it looks as though we may have to make 4 out of 8 then see how that goes :taz::censored::censored::taz: Still mg hopefully gone Galaxy may also have gone so fingers crossed
