Can you remember the first time you drove your zed? Did you..... A. Floor it all the time. B. Overtake anything/everything on the road. C. Look for boy racers to toast :mac1: D. Drive around with the windows down/roof off. E. Pose where/whenever possible. F. Tell the mrs that your just nippin down the shops again and go 4 a crafty burn. or (like me) G. I was up at PPS just before they stopped the bodywork stuff etc. :( Its hard to find a decent garage to work on the zed. There are so many cowboys out there...I would prefer to take the car to someone who is passionate about 'decent' sports cars rather than a 'bean tin modder'. Perhaps the 300zx forum could start to collect details of garages from other forum members - recommendation is the best form of advertising me thinks. Cheers Marc

Thanx guys, I have the instructions danny, just wanted to see if there was any other bits to look out for just in case I screw up something along the way. Can the install be done easily from above the rad or am I better off lifting the car to fit lower pipe? Thats where my zed is losing water from. Cheers Marc

Hi Guys, Just got a lower rad hard pipe kit for the zed from danny at DTA. Before I start fiddling with the car has anybody here fitted one of these, if so is it str8 4ward get it installed. Cheers Marc

I run a TTauto but have been thinking of upgrading the slushbox to a fast road autobox, where can I get one etc etc. Ive had no probs with my autobox and considering I frice up n down to kent a lot and get stuk in traffic all the way down A1/M1/M25 it sure is relaxing NOT to be doing leg workouts all the way lol. :smw: My mate also has a TT manual.....and the grasss is a little greener now n again :x: lol

Hi M8, Danny at DTA is getting the pipe kit to me this week, theb all will be ok to shove my new chip in ;) just need to make sure the car is running spot on before I shove it in. I will be down in Kent hopefully before xmas, Horsmonden area (outside tonbridge). That will take me down the A1, nearly all the way down the M1 then half way round the M25 then halfway down the A21 :headvswal . Should be a nice run for the z ;) Gonna drop in 2 catch up with my mate and his TVR Tuscan S, we went to Le mans in 2004 in it, hope to take the z in 2006 if I can spare the time. Can anyone tell me exactly what the hold button does on the mode selector for a TT auto. Cheerz

Auto box has a 3 way selector switch near the shifter but I have a m8 who also has a fog lamp switch installed near here to.

Had a piloshite the other day with the CSA ( extra tax inc ), Dont get me wrong I want to help my kids but some :xxx: just seems to make an assessment based on zero info. Get landed with a fookin gr8 bill and its been back dated 2 years....wft is happening to ol' blighty. This country is run by a load of :xxx: :xxx: they would be nowhere with out us!!! I must admit the 1st time I saw your z (on this website) I defo liked the brows. My m8 has a silver z tt and he got some brows from ebay, they were complete shite. Really crap stick on, made from perspex and sprayed with red oxide. We are thinking of making some carbon brows etc for our motors - we have started using it to make some of our instruments (we are guitar makers). Dont mind if I copyish your brow style do you? L8r

Just be careful with ebay etc. I had a bad whack for a grand recently. What ever you do make sure you can trace and get your ££'s back. Maybe best via credit card. I'm just about to send the 'DETT collector' some details so I can see if there is a way to get me ££'s back. Good luck m8

Was out 4 a kwik spin in the zed today and spotted a silver Z parked up in a driveway in Durham Rd, Stockton.

Had been looking for a pin routing machine, I make guitars and bits for my zed :bow: just so you know. Found several on ebay, started bidding (this guys trades seemed ok, no neg feedback) won an item at 650 ish then bid on another item from him.....so far so good. I then went to china on buziness but left him my contact details....he called me to say I was losing bid on 2nd machine, I told him my max and he said he would use his wifes ID to win it for me (no net where I was in China). Anyway, sent off a cheque (can be traced easily). The guy holds them for me and sez will deliver when I get back home. His business address checked out etc. Anyway still waiting 2 months later. Had spoken to him a few times to arrange delivery and all of a sudden both mob and land line were not available. Checked on ebay and there had been 2 weeks of very neg feedback by others not getting stuff, then ebay boots him off. And they couldnt give a feck about me so I've got the cops involved. On the upside.....I found his wifes user ID and its still active, selling similar stuff :confused: ....and also the number he gave me did not match the bus address so I checked the dial code with BT and found the village.....so did search on his name and found a match for his home address and his home tel number :hyper: :hyper: ...I am so happy now cos I can give him a :mac1: So anyway the cops are doing there stuff and Im gonna go the debt recovery route as well....you know what I mean. Worse thing was that I thought I was gonna have to sell the zed :( so I can find another one of these machines....and I had a lot of plans for my car over winter. Good news....the zed stays and I'll find another way to get more machines, I'm not gonna let the :xxx: steal my dreams as well. Worse thing about the chavsters :xxx: is when they feel the need to drive up your zorts, Ive had this a few times in sunny Stockton. What sort of d**k head puts others lives at risk like that....only a chavster :mac1: Even when Ive floored it (modded TT auto) you can hear the little ba****ds hit the limiter on their crates trying to keep up with the Z :bow: .....what planet are they on, they should stick to playing on the play station...thats the nearest the twat will get to driving a REAL car. :rant: best bit is when they've got some bird in the car with them......n I p**s all over them.......I know...she knows....and he knows....he's a :xxx: Dont you just love owning a ZED :bow: :bow: :bow
