  1. I would use some brake cleaner spray to clean the area, than run the engine to see where is the oil coming from exactly.
  2. Also there are some battery charger on the market can recondition batteries in some electronic ways, I not sure how, but did work sometimes.(like CTEK Multi XS 7000)
  3. Any news? Otherwise almost all of these cars got the code 34 knock sensor fault(as it's position is just too hot melting the sensor and the connector.), but that cannot cause the engine to stall.
  4. With auto you can do a self diagnostic procedure and see if any motor stuck or sensor shows incorrect temperature.Easy to do, but not easy to write down. PM me with your email address if you want I can send it to you in PDF.
  5. Is it auto or manual air conditioner system?
  6. It would only have flow if the diff oil is too hot and the pump comes alive. It's not happening to often under normal driving condition.
  7. The temp. sensor is just a simple resistor so doesn't matter which way it's connected.
  8. Short pipe under the cooler, the part number is: 21671-37P01
  9. I will be near to you (croydon) at Tuesday evening tomorrow, if you want a second opinion I could have a look for you (free of charge of course as I love difficult cases :) ) Send me a PM(or call me at 07852291335) if you do. ;)
  10. Hello mate did you find the problem ?
  11. Well when I do an MOT I never fail car for bulbs(or anything can be sorted within an hour) just replace them that's the way to keep customers coming back next time :)
  12. First of all contact the positive side first not the earth. Secondly make sure there is no loads switched on when you connect the battery (like interior light, ignition or ACC ect..) A small spark is normal , but if you feel it's no big try to connect it via a multimeter (set to A) so you can see if there's too high current. If you haven't got a multimeter try to connect it with a bigger fuse like 30A should be ok if no load switched on. I hope this helps.
  13. Honestly how difficult to a technician to tight up a bolt and and replace some bulbs ? I would not go there anymore as they are so helpfull :(
  14. First of all sorry to write the same thing twice in two different topic.( I just went blank :) ) Regarding the tapping noise if it's coming from the bottom than yes, but usually tapping is coming from (one or more) the hydraulic valve lifter(s) in the head as crank bearing issues more likely to make knocking noise at certain revs.
  15. I would check the oil pupm too make sure there is enough oil pressure go to the bearings.
  16. Regarding the idle it's may only need a base idle adjustment. Otherwise I agree Vijay could be a poor connection somewhere (possible on the PTU).
  17. Did you replaced the oil pump ? Is it still the same oil pump as it was when the engine seized? May be there was an oil supply problem at the first place caused big end to fail.
  18. If you PM me with your VIN number I can look it up for you.
  19. Original Nissan timing belt part number is : 13028-45P00 I'm not sure about the link.
  20. Sometimes clutch pipe expend under pressure causing the clutch to stay a little bit engaged.Try to put your hands on the pipe, while somebody else moving pedal up and down.(if you can do it alone let us see a video :) )
  21. Did you check it with computer or just on your dash? As the rev. counter on the dash not always accurate. Is it running fine?(I think at 500rpm it's starts to run lumpy)
  22. You should check the disc's run-out (see: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/brake/BrakeDisk.pdf) you can also check the hub in the same way. If the disc's failed again then you have to find out what causing it (usually over heating /sudden cooling of the discs)I hope this helps.
  23. Also worth to check the rubber pipe's condition, sometime they starts to crack causing fuel leak overnight.
  24. Personally I would change coolant after the Wynn's done its job. You never know if you have an old gasket or pipe want to give up.
  25. This could be an adjustment fault as it's very rare that wiring fault can cause change in voltage signal (even if its can happen) usually wires are causing open or short cicuit. If you want I could have a look for you (diagnosis is free on 300ZX as I love them:tt1:).
