It was a squeeze even without the seat, fell over going round a roundabout and pinned my finger to the gear lever which was bloomin painful :( Worth every penny and mile to get them though :) 160 with two good tyres! what a bargain. Sending the damaged one to derby to have it bent back into shape unless anyone knows of any good wheels repairers in the district who are quick and cheap??

Just met the mighty Muffy, what a top bloke! After my accident with radiator i had to fit 4 18" wheels and two tyres into a mini :( hmm so Muffy offered to drive halfway which was a god send as with my childbirthing hips i can't quite fit in the new buckets in the min lol Cue dead legs and feet after 30 mins drive :( Took the seat out the passenger side and just got them to fit okay. Started scrubbing up the rims to see what i've got and i'm very pleasantly suprised..... I'm taking all the bolts out (very slow) to make sure i get every little bit of dirt off them. The soaking in diesal for 3 months works a treat, the bolts are undoing nicely :) I haven't started cutting the pits out yet but they should look stunning when i'm finished! I'll be ordering my koyo this summer, my babys having the following: 99 Nose Smoothed Tailgate Koyo rad and Gearbox oil cooler 18" Speedline Wheels (working on them as we speak) Mongoose exhaust (via chunk) Lightened pulley wheel maybe? New seat leather, retrimmed interior and finally Respray Now all i gotta do is save up some money lol.......

ahh well i'll just do that for the time being then there's no rush to send me the new one just wondered if anyone else had done a repair and how long it'd lasted. Should have the new one ready to fit by the end of the week

Its a poor design really. I'm bonding a 30mm pipe inside the rad and mounting the old piece back over the top and leaving it to cure tomorrow before i test it but that should hopefully hold for a couple of days if not forever but i'll get a koyo later this summer when i start modding for performance.... :D

i still want to work out what "10. Map trace" is? As a programmer if i could figure out how it works theoretically you could record talemetry like f1/wrc which would be cool for track days especially if you had a g meter set up to record as well.... but with my rad exploding think i'll put that 50 quid to getting my car back online first :( good deal though!

Was driving up to muffy's today to go and pick up my new wheels and this happened at 70mph.... Scared the sh*t out of me to have my windscreen covered in brown water and steam come out the bonnet. Was shaking for 20 mins after :( Any idea whether its repairable? I thought about bonding in a strengthening metal pipe and then bonding in the plastic sleeve again, would this be strong enough? Or am i looking at a new radiator? :( Nick
