  1. What a fantastic looking car! I like them with and without but i think in your case the 99 spec spoiler would just finish it off nicely :)
  2. Any news on your project buddy?
  3. Happy birthday buddy! :hyper:
  4. Happy birthday hun! Hope you have a goodun :hyper::happybday::chef::sorcerer::2guns::cowboy::punk:
  5. Daz, happy belated birthday matey! :) Hopefully see you soon! :hyper:
  6. lol, you can have a jacket potato then  Thank Allan, that's great news :)
  7. Hammond's a-hole must have puckered up like nobody's business when he went to overtake! It was truly and utterly mental - the look on his face was priceless
  8. I raced my mate at santa pod in one. Vs my non turbo 2+2 (albeit slightly stripped out and a bit tuned) they were close for about 2 seconds then it was left for dead. Nice little car though as a daily driver!
  9. First person with £18k in cash round my house gets the V8
  10. haha, brill episode i thought :) They're going to get so many letters of complaint after the mexican skit though - and the ozzy lads! The stig in the last section was mental - sooo close to that final tree i thought they were going off

  12. I think you may find someone's just bought that on here buddy :(
  13. Absolutely terrible and worth pursuing after this is all over. They should have talked you all through making sure was alright while you were waiting for an ambulance and avoided the hypothermia entirely. How ridiculous!
  14. Cheers buddy, it's very much appreciated and you're more than welcome to come up for the BBQ too :)
  15. Mate there's really no need, i feel bad enough accepting what people have already sent but i've got more than enough to pay for the rebore now but thank you very much for the offer :) Cheers mate, you're a star! Sorry only just got online for the first time since Thursday so haven't had chance to reply till now :) Cheers Andy, you have my promise i'll be working flat out to get that car done as soon as i get the engine back :)
  16. What goes around comes around buddy :) Well i've met up with a mate who runs a motorsport company down the road and he says if i struggle to get it done in time i can take the car and engine there and he'll let me use his workshop :) I'm moving all my engine parts to my gran's single garage as we speak and setting up a little workshop there when i get the block back to get it built up. In the meantime i'll take the car over to the new house and get stuck into the silver car and the mondeo :)
  17. lol, mate i'll tell you one thing - i'm glad i didn't pay someone hourly to do it otherwise i reckon you'd be talking more £20k :headvswal lol It's a fantastic club to be a member of and i'll look forward to helping you out at some point if you need it :)
  18. Flipping heck! I didn't think there'd be any more Thank you mate, any requests for beer or food just let me know :) I'll send you all an invite when it's a wee bit warmer - can't see a bbq next week really being a reward for helping me out  £5 is still £5 and it really does help! Thank you mate, it's all appreciated :) In fact adding up what you've all sent me including $25 from Andy is exactly £180 - you guys are amazing, i really can't believe it! :w00t: That's the engine paid for completely now so i will work flat out now to get it all done for you all :hyper:
  19. That's fantastic, you'll be giving bob a run for his money at this rate! lol
  20. Flip me, that's going to be one quick old motor on full song! Great news mate and sounds like well worth the wait :)
  21. Sweet jesus, that's not bad at all on half throttle! Is that at the wheels?
  22. The original and the best mate, never surprises me just how generous and helpful people are on here :) I know £180 doesn't sound a lot in the grand scheme of things when i've spent nearly £13k on the car but at this moment in terms of timing it's a killer with everything else coming in at the same time. Again thank you all for your help to everyone who's spurred me on :)
  23. Mate you're a star, thank you so much :) I hope i can return the favour to you and the rest at some point in some way
  24. Flipping heck, another one! Thank you mate, it's always a pleasure to catch up with you so hopefully see you soon :)
