  1. oh i wish it had 6k BUY IT NOW on there :D lol
  2. lol, always liked your zed dave :D Never worked out what the bumper is though?
  3. i'd have it for 6k if he has the tax and ticket plus v5 :D
  4. Can't wait, the exhaust is hopefully going to be noisy enough (am i kidding it'll be fricking noisy lol) It's all i can think about at the mo, just hope the car's ready to go then :D
  5. lol, the car is an absolute state at the moment inside and out. Hasn't had a clean in weeks and hasn't had a polish in 4 months now  I will make the effort though, fitting the braided fuel lines this week, hopefully a sub enclosure and the front wheels (if i ask my mates nicely to sort out the nuts on the other brake caliper just hope they didn't throw away the other brake line i gave them!) Hopefully i'll have enough time to paint the calipers purple, clean and paint the suspension parts, replace the bushes etc. Plus i need to send my shopping list to luke at zcentre so he can bring some bits to the meet
  6. You won't find one and to be honest for the money you're better off either asking one of the guys on here how to do something or take it to a specialist. You'll have wozzer & jay the gun and topless to look after it and they know their stuff
  7. Peach i'll be coming to you once i get my 99 spec nose on and the tailgate sorted for some detailing work (i think i can stretch to a little more than a few pints, maybe even shock horror some notes in your pocket lol) I need it professionally done to get me started for the shows then a few lessons on how to look after it :) Poor old thing's been let go over the christmas period as i've been snowed under with work and dare i say it, the car wash has been used a few time.... :x:
  8. lol, not me. Not spending any more money over 100 today after spending 500 on me new wheels + 56 quid on locking nuts, a breaker bar and a 21mm socket today :) lol
  9. Was thinking exactly the same thing myself
  10. Cheers matey, you can't see the black on them really but they look great in the flesh. Hope i'll see you a a meet soon matey!
  11. pmsl  some of the funniest bits i've ever seen on top gear  Loved it and scary how rednecks really are proper hicks!
  12. Cheers matey but i don't think they'll do much, the calipers are just too far out. We tried everything up to 8mm in spacers but by that point there's not enough thread to bolt onto and it's not safe. I'll just change the discs and calipers, it's probably easier then when micky's brembo conversion is ready i'll get some larger custom spacer fabricated to knock the wheels out to the right size.
  13. Good find there matey, well done. Take it easy in the wet, i've nearly side swiped two people in the wet in my old na auto. Liking the wheels too :D
  14. Work in progress ;) lol They wouldn't have been ready for the zclub calendar shoot so needed some and quick to wear :D
  15. Well here are my new wheels in situe... NOW you may be asking, "why's he not showing the whole car?" WELL that's where the fun starts... They came off a zed right? Correct What i didn't think about before i bolted one on was the fact that the front TT calipers are 4mm wider than their NA siblings :headvswal SO been up to Slick Pete's to get his advice and we've settled on me swapping my calipers and discs for his spare na setup temporarily. So after being without the car for 3 days while they sorted out the f*** up with my brakes at the cost of 50 quid, i now have to shell out another load of money just to get them to fit arrrggghhhhh THEY DO LUCK GORGEOUS THOUGH AND REALLY SET OFF THE CAR WITH A SLEEK STEALTHY LOOK :D THANK YOU MICK1 you're a star for coming down to J26 today to drop them off. More updates to come as and when i get somewhere with them :headvswal
  16. ^^^ What he agreed about what the other guy agreed about what the first guy said ^^^ lol

  21. The club was lonely without you mate, great to see you back again :D Looking forward to catching up with you at the meet on the 18th if you can make it Nick
  22. trying to find the thread but there was asking the same thing and there was a photo showing one mounted up by itsefl and it ended up it would cost that much to make up the pipe work you might as well just buy the two dump valves lol
