  1. That looks awesome buddy, nice job :D Like the colour coded shirt as well ;)
  2. I'm sure i'll feel differently if i have a gf by the time i go to the shows it's just if i'm single it'll kill me to go Who knows but for the time being i'm sticking with the zed until at least next summer then i'll make a choice
  3. lol, cheers guys :D Had a bit of a chat with emero and pete on the phone yesterday and feeling a bit better plus i have a nice new young lady i met a couple of weeks ago which seems to be going well. Never count your chickens as they say but so far so good, she's 4'11" (i likes me short women) and bloomin gorgeous to boot. I'll try and tempt her along to the next meet :)
  4. pmsl  a girl of mine has to understand my love of cars or else  lol
  5. I'll be alright, still tempted by either the BMW 850i or the Jaguar XK8 Coupe..... :D
  6. Nah, the best way to put it is it's got the potential to be a great car, it's solid and sound but it's just had bits bolted onto it without setting them up properly, everything is a bit loose and it doesn't feel right. Over the next few months i'll be getting the smoking sorted, the tuning done properly and i'll be rewiring the car properly with proper junction boxes and looms made up by myself. It's going to be very time consuming but hopefully the car should finally be running at its full potential. It just feels like it's almost there but something's not right if you get what i mean?
  7. Thanks guys for all your kind comments, maybe when i've moved on i might feel a bit more like stopping around, i'll see how i feel then. The zed has to have some pretty drastic work done on it to make it sellable anyway so i'm going to be holding on to it till at least march/april when it starts to get a bit warmer
  8. I haven't really had the time to spend on here to warrant resubscribing any more matey
  9. Well all i'll say was we were engaged, we were moving in together the beginning of november then something happened in her life with her family she couldn't get out of and it meant we were going to be stuck apart for the forseable future so it ended. It's broken my heart harder than anything has done before and tbh seeing her any future jap car meets will ruin it for me so i don't see much point going to them any more. It's not that i dont love jap cars any more it's the prospect of spending the whole time thinking i'm going to bump into her. My life's a bit of a mess right now and i've gone from settling down with the girl of my dreams to nothing in the space of 2 weeks :(
  10. Sorry guys, i've had a few personal problems to deal with. I've left japgirls and tbh probably leaving the jap car fraternity, mainly down to the fact i don't really want to go to any more jap shows any more. I won't be selling the zed till i get the engine sorted out and the whole car working properly so it's more than likely going to be after christmas. It's nothing personal i've just had my love for the jap scene killed by someone that's all :(
  11. Good stuff mate, it's a great feeling well done and congratulations to you both :)
  12. Count me in for that steve! :D 1, Bantambunny
  13. Search for ages and the closest i got was an episode where it appeared for 30 seconds in a review on a porsche and jag. Not particularly interesting

Sorry to hear about that hon, i hope you get through this alright and you know my number if you need a natter to take your mind off stuff xx
  15. Sorry to say guys i won't be coming, forgot it was 1 year since my grandad passed away today and i need to go to the meal with my family. Damn shame as i'd just fixed the zed this morning :( Have fun and see you all soon, if i finish early i'll try and pop down
  16. You bugger, that was an option for the colour i was going next year :( Oh well looks like i'm going to have to choose another colour then
  17. Hope everything goes to plan buddy, best of luck! :D
  18. And good luck with the zed matey, i'll keep my fingers crossed and lets see if you can break 250 :D
  19. Just for reference the belts fitted to my na with the unorthodox pulleys are: P/S Belt - K040350 (4PK891) 14mm x 906mm ALT Belt - K040390 (4PK994) 14mm x 1008mm
  20. I wasn't aware there was a difference between na and tt pulleys matey, i bought them off dipone last year (his was a tt if i'm correct) Give me a bell buddy, Nick
  21. Brill mate, glad you've finally got it back after all this time! :D
  22. Crap mate, i'm really sorry to hear that. Does my head in these people that do that much damage then drive off
  23. I've owned both and i have to be honest the TT pickup at the top end is mental but the NA is more grunty especially low down. You'll find you hit the wrong revs in a TT and you eith er end up backwards in the wet or it bogs down and you have to change down a gear. I'm sure i'm going to get someone say that's rubbish but in all honesty the NAs sound better but haven't got the top end buzz and the TTs are rapid on boost but sluggish off boost.
