hi not been here for a wee while due to the rotten news that i had to move my zx on ,due to lack of storage and moaning mrs .(just did not want her being left on drive )my garage full with a stunning ducati and storage unit failed to appear so i need some info please what's the verdict on the nissan skyline 3.5 gtr ,basically looks like a stretched 350 z seem a lot of car for the cash any issues ???

i am going to ride down to world ducati week in rimini northern italy sometime in june date not confirmed, it may kill me as i will be on my 748, 1200 back breaking glourious miles each way but if it does'nt clash im in for this luxury bash in my comfortable relaxing zx

as you might know this is my first 300zx so after the pain of a fuel tank leak and coming out to a totally dead battery i was not to chuffed but i replaced the battery 2 weeks ago but then left her alone i had been dreading trying to start her up fearing a electrical drain somewhere but ........... kaboom fired up first turn and purred i should be used to wee problems as a ducati owner what was i worrying about mind you her indoors has hinted my baby and i should part company bloody woman .....she has got hobby room ........the kitchen

nowt to do with me but there is a no reserve 300zx on ebay based in somerset maybe good for parts ??

hi ,whilst finally changing the fuel tank o ring , what a sod of a job whilst i was laying on my back saw a pipe going o/s across the centre at the very rear then looping back on it's self anyone enlighten me to what it is ,please and why it loops back on it's self

yep i had same problem ,i did it on a saturday so i am thinking it's a weekend issue as i remember you only get one chance per 24 hrs with the dvla .real pain in the butt

not driven my baby for couple of weeks ,came out today battery totally flat no dash board lights nowt put my 10 amp charger on went right over to max still there 3 hours on still there my thoughts are if the battery seems not to accept a charge its knackered rather than a drain on the system ?? last time i was under the bonnet i changed the coil pack brackets would i have disturbed a connector down the back ?? any ideas welcome

after one garage bodge job and now fed up waiting for my bro so i can change the o ring , (where the filler tube attaches to the tank via six wee bolts ) i going to attack it tomorrow is there a best way to do this ? i don't have access to a ramp so we are talking jacking up the rear any info more than welcome

what's the general opinion of the BIG rear spoiler on the red zx in the pics on jae 2013 thread are they sturdy ? quality ? fiiting ? doe's it flow with the body lines ? been offered one not cheap but seems reasonable ,but what are they worth ? i am in two minds

:balloon::balloon::balloon::balloon::balloon::balloon::balloon: less than 2 months ago i started looking at 300zx's and 350z's and low and behold one of my bro's at work bought a smart 350z in silver i kept pondering on which to get finally choosing my baby 300 zx tt in sexy pants red and now yep you guessed it in the car park today ----- a very clean 370z in copper so in a matter of a few months our works car park has become one sexy place to be so we have a true speed nutter in silver a cruiser in sexy red and i am sad to say a never to be out copper ornament (he has four other cars only ever drives a battered peugoet 205 diesel )

when i drove my baby home the very first time she leaked fuel when filled from where the filler tube mounts onto the tank looks like the local mechanic did a bodge job :asshole: is there a supplier who can supply the correct gasket so i can sort this very quickly even though i have my ticket for jae this puts my attending in doubt

yeah i know i cocked up my user name it should have been jim@southwales ,if it can be changed would be great did not know if poss. i think my baby must be a s1 but seats are the alcantra trim until i find some leather front seats have the rear in my spare room already. she is luvly as for jae i have been a bad boy and booked the whole friday off (its the bi-annual stocktake )oh dear ill miss the 18 hour day!!!this time so let me know if and when your passing monmouth either meet at the services north of monmouth a449 (a40) ,approx 3 miles north of the monmouth roundabout or at mine in monmouth for a cuppa more the merrier ,dead easy to find loads of parking :clown:

i gonna show how little i know ,i bought my baby on pure looks . so without boring everybody to death what the main differences from the s1 onwards my baby is a 92 tt is there any pitfalls to look out for . i am going to jae if anybody wants to ed-you-me=cate me :laugh:
