Well finally got round to taking the vectra to a garage, turns out the cat has collapsed and blocked. Noise is comin from exhaust fumes escapin from the flexi mesh part of the cat :( £180 to replace :headvswal :headvswal

Defo mate, got me baffled lol, car has sat on the stands (i need a lift lol) for ages and hasn't leaked, then the only thing that changed was the battery. then there was OIL.

Ok as some know, the purple beast is in the middle of a service, and some extra bits and pieces. basically the car at the mo has rad out, aircon been removed, and most other parts removed to get to timing belt etc etc... Now..... Had battery disconnected and out of car, but popped it back in while testin new stereo, then took it out again. Then next thing i noticed is that there's oil all over the floor :confused: So my question is what squirts oil and from where, when the ignition is on?? (not fully turned on, but one click from firing the car up) I thought oil was just moved around when engine was started, but i never turned her over Confused as fook, not to fussed as gonna do oil change anyway, just wanna know where its come from.
