:rofl::slap: front is jacked up, but it has been that way for like a month, then went into garage and a puddle of oil had appeared, baffles the fook outta me.

OK my car is half stripped for 60k service, and then without doin anything it started leaking oil, and on closer inpection it looks like its comin from the back of the engine. Does this mean engine out?? if so is it as big a job as it sounds?? If the engine can be left in, what am i lookin for?? I hear of peeps with the likes of the 200sx sayin they have the engine in and out all the time, easily, but I'm sure its not that easy on these big buggaz, but as all the rad stuff is out of the way, thought now was a good time ;) Please gimme as much info pointers as possible, as I wanna get this sorted while the cars apart, and don't wanna fook it up :( Cheers Guyz Mike

ok I'v removed rad and pipes as far back as poss, thanks to your replies to Stellaz, ya5een :bow: firstly my question is, is the idler highlighted green in pic 1 the same one as in pic2 with red arrow?? If so, can i remove this? as it looks like it add some tension to the timing belt. Please advize. finally, it was mentioned that to remove the bolt at the rear of the compressor a flexi-socket is needed. WTF is a flexi-socket?? :rofl: I have never heard of such a thing. cheers in advance Mike
