There's a gromit in the passenger foot well behind the ecu. Its really easily access. Just remove the passenger side arch liner and you'll see it right there. You can drop the amp wire straight down the inside of the wing, through the grommit into the cockpit.

Ok so.. After all the posts and help from you guys turns out all the symptoms were a knackered water pump. It had a small water leek etc which i thought was the matrix and then there was a suspected oil leak or burst pipe. Cars under warrenty so thankfully it all turns out its a minor (to fix) problem. Car should be back tomorrow or monday, whoohoo!!

they've not even bloody looked at it. Every day its "it'll be up on the ramp tomorrow" He's saying he cant see an oil leek where its sitting. Plonker!! i told him what might be wrong with it. Its not going to leek oil through a pressure hose whilst switched off is it!!!!!!!!! I reall need it this weekend. they've had it since last tuesday. As i said before i've only done 800 miles in it and its gone back as its under warrenty. Bloody good job i can use the tube to get to work!!! Don't think they have a clue about Z's either, just scratch thier balls and kick the tyres... Rant over :rant: :rant: :rant:
