I work as an architect in a property developers in Chelsea (welcome to nose http://www.abnassetti.com ) but my DREAM job would be to work with cars (suprise for an owners club forum post!!). Im not talking working my arse off as a mechanic all day but having a performance and styling garage where i'd employ people to work on cars and bring in the cash os i could wonder around the garage and tinker with my own car all day.. What would you do as a job to make you happy????? (not talking about money either!!! )

Ah, new years resolution ehh

I can't see that a lack of fuel would cause safety boost, and if the guage was reading boost and ther was no go that confuses it even more. The stock guage isn't accurate anyway. I have a UK TT auto and its in safety mode and the standard guage showed normal boost. Even though its in safety boost (7psi) It still shifts very well (267bhp) and theres no lack of power

Warrenty's aren't worth the paper they are written on, they only cover faults NOT wear and tear on components and on a 15 year old car any issues are 90% lokely to be wear and tear, inc gearbox and tub's. It does seem cheep as its from a dealer, so might well be a dog!!!

Oh........And on the protection side of things the car needs Zink Phosphating asap if its not gonna be painted, my dad does this. PM me if your interested "we can then apply a clear zinc phosphate coating which is an anti corrosion treatment that protects the surface from atmospheric moisture providing it is kept in a reasonably dry workshop. Our phosphate coating is clear and can be welded through or painted over without any problem an permits close examination of the metal, unlike other primer's which are opaque and obscure the surface.
