  1. Just pulled clode 43 off the ECU...not sure what that is, will have a hun.
  2. Just drove it back with no problems at all. I took the nose panel off and the clip didn't feel like it was on quite enough. Fingers crossed anyway. Doesn't explain the occasional pop on warm start up though.
  3. There is, but he's not answering the phone. It's litterally 1 mile from my house. I'll go back and have a fiddle with the MAF in a minute. With a bit of luck, it might just be a connector issue (as I've lost the spring clip that holds the loom to the connector).
  4. Left my Z the other side of town as it just cut out on me and failed to restart. Initially for the past few months, occasionally on warm start up, it'll missfire/pop once or twice before it clears. Today, the revs started fluctuating a little bit before the engine died in traffic. Managed to get it restarted and at quite high revs managed to get it off the road. Tried restarting it and the engine just turned over. Occasionally a slight flutter and nothing. Eventually it restarted for a few seconds then died again. So, I've walked home and left it to cool down for an hour before I attempt to get it restarted and back home again. Does this sound like a PTU gone AWOL problem? It's still the original one iirc. Thanks in advance.
  5. Agreed with Gaz. Poor braking is often a cause of shagged suspension. New tight suspension gives less travel, meaning a more positive and direct feel when braking.
  6. 1mm Jets should give you 12 - 14PSi....so from stock, which is 9PSi @ approx 280bhp, with increased boost to that pressure, you should see between 330 - 360bhp dependant on engine/turbo condition? I've seen rebuilt OE spec engines with standard tubs and 1mm jets pushing 370bhp before.
  7. They've gone up. Thought they were about £35ea
  8. As per telcon bud. :) Same as above basically. :)
  9. Christ, I'm 13 years your junior and I only pay £450 fully comp.
  10. Mine's a MOMO. Make sure the horn is working pre-steering wheel though. Could be an other issue with it rather than incorrect boss/slip ring issue.
  11. I dunno. Not had the column shroud off yet. You need the correct boss for the horn to work. What steering wheel is on there at the moment?
  12. Yeah, get a spare steering wheel, pop the controls out, cut a small hole next to the clock and mount it there, should be able to make it look semi-factory. It's something I'm gonna do eventually. Just a case of lengthening the wires to reach the loom behind where the old slip ring was. The other option which I'm looking at is getting hold of the switch gear from a US spec car with airbag. You gain an paddle and the indicator paddle swaps sides. Looks neat.
  13. It should sound like a Scania truck's airbrakes on release. ;)
  14. I use the following on another forum I use...feel free to plagiarise it. CRAP SIGNATURE
  15. Shame the paint's quickly vanishing from the front bumper.
  16. Has she thought about the Alfa GTV? IIRC, the Barchetta is only a 1.8 and of course, LHD only.
  17. LOL, that's the one Sarah really liked and wanted to get. Looks like it was hewn from a solid peice of oak.
  18. They are sided though. So make sure you get the correct one as they aren't particularly cheap.
  19. These without a shadow of a doubt....bottom ones look nice too, but these win for me,
