Tidy 2 seater on ebay
Depends where you go. My import is insured for £450 fully comp. I wouldn't buy a UK spec one unless I came across an absolute concourse one.

mars bar anyone ??
Makes a change from the usual lump of feces that people try and sell there.

does the bodykit suit the car
I beg to differ. It'll add salability if it's something they are looking for, not necessarily value. :)

"Pimpin Zed"
Yeah....ridiculous....football sucks as well, so even more of a waste of money! Least I can take solice in the fact that, as with the old stadium, it'll be used as a music/festival venue as well. So all is not lost. lol

"Pimpin Zed"
They put a lot of time into making the Millenium dome...doesn't mean it's any good.

does the bodykit suit the car
Don't like/dislike it really. Just not a kit I'd fit, but the car looks very clean and tidy. It won't add value to it.

Happy Birthday Dan! Anyone who's met Dan will know he doesn't look much older than about 21....certainly NOT 34!

Forget 2 tone Paintwork....
Looks like a North American spec car (note, LHD, orange bits on indicators and square number plate housing.....grouped together this would hint at it being A-spec). Being a 2+2, they were only available as an N/A. Plus lack of spoiler, lack of visable intercoolers via missing bumper section.

Well I bought that Laguna
Same with any mass produced cars. Vauxhall are in there more times than Renault. I've owned millions of those and never had a problem.
-
Well I bought that Laguna
....says someone who repairs millions of Zeds! I've had 3 French cars before and none of them were any grief. Quite a few on here have owned Lagunas. Most who have owned them on here have said they were very reliable. Dave's one hardly cost him anything.

Well I bought that Laguna
Mark's trying to fight a loosing battle! I buy a daily beater and don't care about it not being 'true sports car' with an exhilarating drive.....lol and he thinks I should buy something 3 times more expensive! good one Mark. ;) It's like me going out to buy a Skoda Estelle and someone saying 'why not get a Polo 1.3, it's so much more of a better car etc. The two cars couldn't be any less important if they tried! ;)

Well I bought that Laguna
I can't afford a Mondeno TDCi ffs!! I paid £1500 for that Laguna and all I really need it for is to haul my ass to and from work which is 5 miles in each direction! So not entirely bothered about it being less than an entertaining car to drive!
-
Well I bought that Laguna
Yeah most likely. lol. Will upgrade the speakers no doubt.

Well I bought that Laguna
A, I don't care about its performance as long as it's smooth. It's a daily beater ffs!! LOL It's absolutely perfect for my needs. I don't need a SINGLE thing more out of a car. It's spacious, well equiped, cheap and in good condition. Anything else, I just couldn't give a monkey's ass about!! B, I don't have the money for a 2002 Mondeo TDCi.

Forget 2 tone Paintwork....
Granted, it's bad, but you obviously haven't seen these abortions then....

I think i've had enough
Narrr you don't. You can maintain those old Cavaliers with a knife and fork. 2.0 8v is bulletproof. I bought a mint condition L reg Cavalier about 3 years ago, for the hefty sum of £200....it came with a years ticket, 6 months tax and an entire tank of fuel and didn't break down once. I did about 40k in it and sold it for £25 less than I paid for it! LOL

I think i've had enough
I'm sure you can scrape together a few hundred quid? Was at the auctions last week and a tidy H-reg Cavalier 2.0i went through for £50 with T&T.

I think i've had enough
Derek's right. I've had a 2nd car for about 5 years now. Makes a wise investment as not only will you be saving money on fuel, but you can use the Z for fun drives rather than mundane traveling to and from work etc. You'll save on vehicle wear too.

Forget 2 tone Paintwork....
Least it's only an N/A. ;)

Is that PJ's new project? ;)

Well I bought that Laguna
Cheers guys. Yeah, it is very tidy. Credit to the last owners. Did much of its mileage under fleet ownership. The car hasn't even been smoked in. Cigarette lighter hasn't had a single burn, seats are like new, engine is very smooth sounding. No doubt, I'll keep it up together as well. There are a few external blemishes, of which I'm getting sorted next week before handing the Arsetra back. Also need to remove those 'motorman/halfrauds' style door edge protectors as well at some point....and removal of all window stickers.
