  1. Your current wheels are much much nicer.
  2. Rear bumpers are 1/3 bigger than the size of the front bumpers and have less support. The lower half especially. You have a multiude of rivets and reversed mouldings holding the front bumper to the splash tray. The rear bumper is deep, has no real shape to the lower half meaning the skin has little 'mechanical strength'. The lower half of the rear bumper is just secured by long trim tabs that fix to the body via expanding rivets. Just one of those things I'm afraid. There's not really any room for adding support where it's needed.
  3. Make sure the PCD and centre bore are compatible. Are you looking at new ones?
  4. I haven't seen it over here but a few guys over on the US forum have. Not that common though. I think it looks cool if done correctly, ie really deep dished rear, rolled arches with the wheels tucked in tightly and a low front end with aggressive offset and with a wide wheel. Can't find any pics at the moment though. If you're set on it, get the offset you desire regarding whether you put a wide arch kit or just get the arches rolled, 19 X 10 rear with an 18 x 9 front. Usually staggered diameters are is a thing that's a favourite with the F-body (Camaro/Firebird) owners.
  5. The bumpers on the Z don't have much in the way of structural rigidity as they are just skins as opposed to rigid bumpers. Similar things happen to the OEM foam composite rear spoilers on the 89-94 cars. I think a higher than normal amount of plasticizer is needed on these types of non-rigid bumpers.
  6. I got rid of a huge amount of body roll with new springs/shocks. I want whiteline ARBs too at some point. I love watching a car and the feel of a car through the twisties with limited bodyroll. Feels great from an onlooker's point of view and looks amazing.

  8. I'd love to go, but I'll be racing round Hallett Race track in Oklahoma in a 240Z on the 31st. :D
  9. Would probably take us about 15 minutes once we're out of the locks LOL. Does 80 flat out.
  10. If we bring the boats out, I'll get my mate to bring down his 320 BHP supercharged Mercury Verado powered Catamaran! It's moored in Portishead marina, so not exactly a mega distance! LOL It's great fun! Went out in it this weekend. We fitted a sound system in it a few months ago including sub woofer!
  11. Wheels are pretty cool. Wrong tyre profiles on the rear though, but if referbed, would look pretty cool. Probably better on a black Z31 though.
  12. Yeah, if the weather's good, I might try and come down to Burnham too. :)
  13. Time for some Rover 620 Ti wheels on it now. lol
  14. You can get a bronze tint, but there's a lead time on it whereas UK screens are readily available. I want to change all my glass to blue tint eventually. All UK cars have a blue tint, but some JDM cars also had blue tint. Saphire blue JDM cars have a blue tint, so all those with SWBs if you can find, then you can get blue tint glass for them.
  15. I know Glenn is after one, might be worth having a chat with him as he's already done a bit of research.
  16. Can't make this one either. I'll be in California by then.
  17. Happy Birthday AndyP ..........................:)......................................:wack: :nelson:PydnA yadhtirB yppaH:hyper: .................................................. ............................................
  18. They aren't any official figures. I am sure someone can pull up their old MOT emissions test paper which you don't get anymore I don't think.
  19. It's not that, the thing that gets me is the fact that cars of 15 years or over only make up about 5% of the total population of cars currently on UK roads. The government should just forget it!
  20. Mine are set to 7 at the back and 4 at the front. Little too hard I think, but feels great on the road. Might have a play about with them soon.
  21. Looked like a LWB. Had aftermarket wheels on. Didn't see much else.
  22. Not trying to sound patronising, but are you 101% convinced it was a ghost and wasn't a sub-conscious thought or figment of your imagination. This is something I'd always ask myself if I saw something that wasn't quite right.
  23. There are ways of wording manipulating things Allan to convince you that they are reading your mind, it's the same reason people read the stars, or get people to look into crystal balls.
  24. I only believe with what I see, hear and feel. So far nothing has convinced me that God, ghosts, spirits, true mind readers and other paranormal anomalies etc exist. On a flip side, I don't write of the fact that these could exist. I just don't know and haven't experienced any of it. I'm very much an agnostic.

Good good. Mine's due in September. But like you, haven't don't that much mileage in it, it passed last time with no problems and I've replaced a load of stuff since. Could do with some new tyres though.
