  1. I usually keep an eye on the Japanese Yahoo Auctions. I've come up trumps with a few things through there. I have a contact in California who sorts all the bidding/shipping etc. Wouldn't buy ANY of that though! LOL
  2. Oil pressure is doing what it should. Sounds like your gauge might be reading out a bit low. They are notorious for it. Have you checked the bulb?
  3. It is indeed. I really want to refit the battery box. I want to do a bit of an engine bay cleanup and want it back to an as-new look. So will be powdercoating everything that is currently black, grey or green all to a new black. With that, I want to fit the battery box to it. I want to get all his done before I get a brand new scuttle panel so I can just leave that area all alone.
  4. It's not really suitable as a film! LOL Anyway, I think it has some swearing in it and some punches. Can't recall any nudity or adult scenes. Might have made it a better film if we saw some tits and pussy! :wack: On a different note, I watched a bit of F&F Tokyo drift last night. Never seen it before, but have to say, what an absolutely awful film. Really really bad. Acting only bettered by 80s German porno film stars.
  5. I'll add the original JWT test car to this page too. Perfect stance and wheels.
  6. No, the stock plastic battery cover that fits over the battery and the stock clamps. What were you referring to? See pic, although it's LHD, it uses the same plastic battery cover.
  7. How odd. So what is the definitive answer? What is the correct battery to use with the battery box?
  8. The beauty of the Kaminari sides is that you can space them downwards and keep the recess equal.
  9. This is an NA lip. Looks near identical to the TT lip. (Bare in mind that this lower lip has been painted black on the leading edge) Here is the Type 3 TT lip. As you can see, it has slightly deeper recess for the IC ducts. I took this photo at MWZF. GT-Z TT GT-Z NA (ubber rare!) This one is absolutely stunning, not least because it has HRE 540Rs on it which I'd loose a testicle for!
  10. There are I think, but for the 99-spec with a bit more oomph, then look to the Escort racing front bumper. Just such a shame that something so nice is made of fibreglass, but it's very well made by all accounts. It's based on the 99 front end but has an extended lower lip giving it a more aggressive look. These aren't the most flattering photos of it, but it does look nicer than the 99 bumper, if, in only a subtle way.
  11. GTZ all the way if you're not going for skirts Gaz. I do like the Type 3, but, IMHO, you NEED skirts with to fill the car out so the dropside contours match. The GTZ also gives you a slightly thicker line below the bumper inkeeping with a stock recess line. They work well with Kaminari/Powertrix skirts. Type 3 looks good wih Type3 or Impul skirts.
  12. Thanks for that. Good price too. Main concern is, will the battery cover fit over it and the clamps be used?
  13. Thanks Dave. Can you shed any light on this? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=112945 Getting conflicting sizing now.
  14. Dexter is a nutcase. Remember when he locked himself in your car with the keys in the ignition? Does he still eat the furniture or is he getting a bit better?
  15. Can't seem to find anywhere selling the 031. I can see there are slight differences in sizing, but how snug of a fit is the battey box over the battery on an 068?
  16. I want to replace the battery in my Z for the correct one. I bought a random one from Halfords 3 years ago and it's been fine. But, I want the correct size so that I can refit the battery cover and battery clamps. 068 and 088 batteries seem to be the ones for the Z...but, what's the difference between the two? Wanting confirm that this sized battery will fit the Z battery cover. 255mm Long 173mm Wide 182mm Height Want to try and find a black battery. Most are like red, white or blue or something!
  17. You're better off leaving it rather than just sit it there on idle mate. You're not doing the engine any good doing that. I started mine last week for the first time in nearly 2 months. But luckily, the roads were clear/salt free, so gave it a nice run. Otherwise, once it's in the garage, that's it. Certainly won't start it unless I know it's going to have a good road-warm up. It started no problems like always. :)
  18. I only realised what you meant after reading what I wrote! LOL What I've noticed is that the search on this forum doesn't have 'search exact phrases' or 'match exact phrases' option. I'm not sure if that's an option for the VB package. Have seen it on other sites. I've kinda gotten used to it and I can always pull out the info I need, but that's just me.
  19. Use other terms like idle problem, erratic idle, idle fault or faulty idle. You'll get results, it's all about what terms other people use. Not really a fault with the DB. So simply searching one phrase for one thing won't give you the best results. Multi-search using different words that have similar means and you will. I think the search function on this forum is pretty good TBH.
  20. You're using way too many variables. Type 'Starting fuel spark' and you'll get some results.
  21. Tell me when you're down and I'll pop over. Jimmer's only 15 mins away from me. :)
  22. Jesus wept......in the last photo, I thought you'd tied a used condom round your dog's neck until I saw the hat on top! LOL Cute pics, first one is lovely. :)
  23. My top 3 on this forum include Mr.Funge. His, Steve-300zx and James300s (now deceased) Z. There are some great cars on this forum and threads like this remind people of those. :)
