  1. No too small and the rears would rub.
  2. Meh, we'll be alright. I can start a conversation with a crane-fly! See you at about 1.30 mate.
  3. I'm just a tight fisted ******* though Gaz. I rarely go out anymore, I tend to save a lot in the winter as I had the winter an becomg a but of a trogladite. My fear of spending came about via a very dark and miserable past I a had for a few years whilst living in Southampton. I'd previously been made unemployed from the MOD. One thing led to another and I found myself close to bankrupcy. Thankfully, the CAB were as good as gold and everything was resolved. Even now, 8 years after all that, I still have to deal with it, but my credit scoring is going right up to the levels it used to be when I was working for the MOD. I's a shame as it's that experience has made me feel very insecure in spending money. I'm resonably flush for cash at the moment, but it's not that, it's the worry and the guilt feeling. Pizza deliver or bar work is always good. Bar work especially since it's seen as quite a 'social' job and now blissfully free from the putrid smell of stale tobacco smoke!
  4. Jimmer. He's in Somerst and he maybe able collect. You will be offered the very best of deals and quality of work. Jimmer takes as much pride in other's Zs that he does his own. He's very methodical in the way that he works, takes real pride in his work and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for. Not saying this because I know him personally and he's a good friend of mine, I've pointed many many people to him from this forum and EVERYONE has had success result from him. I wouldn't trust my car's mechanicals with anyone else.
  5. Getting your own place is a really nice feeling. Takes quite a bit of planning and belt stretching. Over the past 6 months of watching my cash a bt and going out very rarely, I've inadvertatenly racked up over £5k without really thinking That's with spending thousands of the Z and multiple holidays through out the year (we do a lot of city breaks so places like Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Lavia etc. So by the end of the year, I should have close to £10k as dispoable as I have no real projects for the Z anymore as I've done pretty much what I want to achieve with it. Thinking about investing in some oversea properties where it's a little more lucrative. Maddie has quite a high powered job in a property investment company and she's looking at sound deals out in the Emirates and the Carribian. Most of her clients and developers are based there.
  6. I'll bung you a text when I am leaving. Leaving here at around 8.30. I have quite big meeting in the morning with a potential very big project which is about to fruition. Would you be able to put it back to 30mins? Or are you on some sort of line shut down or something? Just worried that if my meeting runs on, which is shouldnt, that you'll still be about. I love cats and have been meaning to get one for a while. Always wanted a seal-point siamese, but have found a really nice silver tabby and a small little tortouishell female. They are both the best of friends, so it would be good to put them in a quiet home which mine is. :) This is Lola by the way. She's only 10 months old and still very very small. :)
  7. Yeah cool Get some sarnies and some chips. My shout. 1/2 an hour is lame. I take whatever I need whenever I need. Take it for granted sometimes. My lunchbreaks turn-into, doing odds and sods around the house, cleaning the car, doing washing. Nothing exciting! I'm taking delivery of 2 cats in a few weeks time that I'm looking forward to. :)
  8. You still around tomorrow? About lunchtime? I'll drop over that fog light lense. Could pop into town to get some food if you want.
  9. The link keeps dropping unfortunately. But I did a screen grab which you can see in my above post.
  10. What photo are you actually looking at? I dunno, maybe I've had too many sleeping pills and anti-depressants this evening, but where on here does it refer this blue Z as being a 2+2 Twin Turbo?
  11. What on earth gives you that idea!!?? It's an NA lip spoiler!
  12. Not a fan of the wings at all, but the ABFLUG front bumper gets my thumbs and big toes up! Nice engine build too.
  13. Almost how I invisage a perfect Z!! (probably a few wallpapers in here too!) Something for Gaz!
  14. We'll get your sorted John. I've sussed a way of getting a Border FMIC and I'm working on the ABFlug front at the moment. Might be a bitch to get hold of, but it's looking doable.
  15. Hope it gets rid of those awful headlights. What colour is he going for? Please tell me he's restoring it to its original yellow. If he did a concourse job on it, trust me, more people will look at than if it were to have components of the Star Ship Enterprise grafted onto it. If ever I am at a show, I spend infinately longer looking at all the tidy and well presented original cars than I do with things with garish paint and fibreglass glued all over it.
  16. I don't store the targas in the car unless I am away with it in France or whatever. If it's nice, I'll take them off and leave them in the garage.
  17. O2 sensors tend to read out of range when they start to go. So if it was breaking down, you notice the figures being lazy rather than going zero. I'd try cleaning up the contacts first on any O2 sensor that was not responding at all. What O2 sensors do is they read the amount of emissions on idle and up to a certain rev range to obtain a value for the air/fuel mix for the ECU. It then uses those values higher up the rev range. Most cars only use the real-time O2 readings on idle then use those value when the accelerator is depressed as the TPS will switch the ECU to run the circuit goes closed-loop. Figures have already been used and will be used via the ECU to base the fuel map on. If one is faulty, as with most sensor failures/faults, the ECU will run default settings and in effect 'overfuel'. It's programmed to do this. Better to have a little too much fuel than not enough! They don't effect the car that much, you may notice a difference in responsiveness, less MPG and more often than not, failed MOT emissions. It effects different cars in different ways too. But generally the same symptoms
