Correctamundo....although isn't it the 1 up to LA? One of my favourite 'cruising' roads in the US! Gets a little snarled up about the beach cities (Newport, Laguna, Huntingdon), but love it! Not driven along it any further than just past Malibu though, but it's supposed to get really pretty up toward San Francisco.

Probably digging a hole now. Supposed to have had heavy thundery rain today from 10am. Been hot and sunny most of the day. I even managed to get the grass cut and 1 of my cars cleaned! The joys of working from home! I've probably damned myself now! LOL Still, quite nice here, relaxing in the garden doing work on the flappypappy top. With Smooth Jazz (San Diego radio station) coming out of the speakers. Not everyone's idea of 'great music', but it reminds me of driving down the Pacific Coast highway to Orange country. Chilled. :cool:

Get new ones, remove the bracket and don't fit bolts. You can also get yours spaced on one line like mine. :) Looks nice though, you've got it cut to size. :) Simple thing like getting it cut to size makes it look far nicer. Seen so many with 4x4 plates on them and they are the wrong fitment. Looks untidy. Keep telling Jimmer to get a new rear plate. Might just order one for him. ;)

PS, steer clear from holograms, slogans, graphics, crappy fonts, borders. Plates look best clean and free from clutter. Nice and neat. :) Suprises me how many cars go around with tatty looking plates. Nice clean cars, then water damaged or cracked plates. Cheap fix and it makes the car look so much more fresh. Best stuck on too with no screws!

I used fancy plates. Really good service, very nice quality plates. You can get them cut to size, letter spacing etc.

The tail lights are what make the back end of the car for me and struggle to understand what posses someone to fit ugly-ass round rear lights. A mate of mine was following me a few weeks ago at dusk. I had my lights on and he said the car looked fantastic as the brakelights came on. Yeah, the bugs are an issue, but they wash quite easily off my paintwork. It's the only downside to summer driving. Hell, it's the only time of the year my Z really gets used and it gets used quite a bit.

Get some emery paper out!

Oh yes it does! Thought I'd make the most of these warm evenings and went for a nice drive through the countryside. T-tops off, some cool tunes playing. Summer driving is great. Summer evening driving is better. Nice and warm, empty roads. I love looking up and seeing the stars and dark skies. /that's all.
