Unless of course you have a mobile home and you could have brought it somewhere...hehe As strange as it may seem, meeting someone online is actually becoming quite the norm now for a lot of people who simply do not see meeting someone out on the piss as the ideal thing to do. PLUS, it's just a good way of getting to know someone you'd not know normally.

Not interested in a cheap tart TBH, just hope there's not too many of those types there.

Another 5hity thread by me I'm afraid! LOL Has anyone been to this speed dating thing? As sad as it sounds, it may work. To cut a long story short, I've been single for what seems like eternity....some 5 years to be precise, had a lot of bad experiences with ex's cheating on me etc and just a rough time in general from women. They always complain about blokes treating them like 5hit, but it's by no means one sided. Had the odd bit of fun on the way, but just can't seem to meet anyone. :cry: So, thinking about this speed dating thing. Sounds sad and corny, but at the end of my tether. Would like someone special in my life before I get old. Scared shitless of being left on the shelf.

60k, but it is intermittant. Started it up this morning and the exhaust was as clear as a whistle.

Mine does it instantly on startup for about 5 seconds. Does it no other times and does it intermitantly. So nothing serious.

Don't leave it too long, now that it's slipping, what's left will wear at an alarming rate. You don't want your flywheel scored due to wearing down the friction plate down to the rivets...once this happens, it's new or machine flywheel time.

Seen them today. Abi's got a few nasty bruises on her arm, but seem to be ok. :)

Has got a blue haze to it on further inspection. Only does it when it feels like it....PCV valves probably, judging by its oil dumping episode the day after I bought it! LOL

To add, lots of ones with dodgy hoods. MK1s, I think all came with PVC hoods and these only have a shelf life of around 6 - 8 years before they start cracking or shrinking. Most decent examples really should have had a new hood fitted within the last 3 or 4 years I would have thought. Older ones, g/h reg maybe on their 3rd hood. Some get replaced with mohir hoods, which, have a shelf life that will more than likely outlive the life of the vehicle.

If you can, find one of the rare electric blue colours. Lovely, similar to bay blue on the zed. :)

I've changed the thread topic haven't I....sorry, I'll get a kipper round the listener from all the people that were moaning about it last week...hehe ;) On a sidenote though, I looked at getting an MX-5 ages ago. Good little cars and you get a lot for your money. I was looking at the Eunos though, generally in slightly better condition than the UK versions, lower milage and all came with A/C, UK versions it was an option that not everyone had.
