  1. Same could be said for smokers though, if you want to smoke, go somewhere else. ;)
  2. The only spiders I can cope with are money spiders and those really slow moving skinny little things that are almost non-existant. Anyway, I beat Macca with the facts...did a bit of research...without too much squirming and came across this. http://www.snopes.com/photos/bugs/camelspider.asp
  3. Whatever it is, it's bloody grim!! :hurl: I find phobias almost stupid, but I fear I do have mild arachnaphobia as the things really do make me squirm....even though technically, as you say, it's not an arachnid. My brain tells me otherwise. lol

    Mine's still quicker. ;)
  5. These things are huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They run 10 mph, jump three feet, are a nocturnal spider, so only come out at night unless they are in shade. When they bite you, you are injected with Novocaine so you go numb instantly. You don't even know you are bitten when you are sleeping, so you wake up with part of your leg or arm missing because it has been gnawing on it all night long. If you are walking around and you bump something that is casting a shadow over it, and the sun makes contact with it, you better run. It will instantly run for your shadow, and scream the whole time it is chasing you. PS. The one on the bottom is eating the one on the top. These are spiders found daily in IRAQ by the troops. Imagine waking up and seeing one of these beauties in your tent!! :hurl:

Mine's the quickest at the moment! LOL :) ;)
  7. There is evidence to support both arguments actually. Depends on your views and who you choose to believe I guess. But I'm sure breathing in the millions of chemicals that are found in the things is sure as hell not healthy. But that (as I'm a non smoker and smoking does seriously affect my asthama, so I do have some grounds to base my opinions on)...is my feeling. :)
  8. Good God, chill out. You calling me a goody goody 10 year old? Alcohol is more of a killer, but it sure as hell isn't pasive. I'm not going to get liver failure by sitting next to an alcoholic. On a different point, a recent public survey showed more than 90% of people in Ireland support the smoking ban, including many smokers ! This is almost the same in the UK I know it seems to many smokers that their rights and freedom of choice are being eroded, but unfortunatly, as they are the ones causing the problem by choosing to smoke, they must be the ones who have to compromise. I fully support the rights of smokers to enjoy killing themselves, if thats what they choose to do. However they just cannot be allowed to continue wrecking the health of people who have chosen not to expose themselves to those risks. The fact is, smokers have shown that self regulation doesn't work, and now governments all over the world are waking up to the fact that they must act and force the issue. I don't mean this personally in any way, but in general the attitude of some smokers towards their habit is fundamentally selfish. It is not acceptable to make avoiding smoke a non-smoker's problem, but all too many smokers are happy to say things like "If you don't like smoke, don't goto bars" etc. They are the ones choosing to persue that habit, therefore they will have to change it. It's going to happen, regardless of what you, I, or anyone else thinks of it... so nows the time to start dealing with it. Just my $00.2 worth. :)
  9. Yeah, but only because their 5hite doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of fat and crap that McDos have. Shame as I like Big Macs and Double cheeseburgers, but want them launched into Saturn's upper ionosphere....to stop temptation. I don't want a belly.
  10. Tell ya what though, if they ever banned beans then I'd be a very unhappy man. McDonalds should be banned as well! LOL
  11. Smoking in public is going to have a partial ban. Thank god! I can now go out without fear that I'm going to be breathing in noxious gasses and making my clothes stink! Bring it on! But, I'm disappointed because it doesn't go far enough; there will still be plenty of pubs that don't serve food. What we needed (and didn't get) is a total ban on smokin in public places so it would *force* the smokers (and believe me, nicotine addicts really need forcing) to stop. But this pathetic government just couldn't live up to their manifesto. Well, hey-ho, it's a start and a blanket ban on smoking in all public places won't be that far off.

£4k will get you a fairly decent early one I would guess. £1,800 3rd party fire and theft? Jesus H Christ!! Dude, due to your area, go fully comp...saying that, the premium would shoot up to well over £2k. So glad I only pay £500 a year fully comp!
