  1. Joel has a garage which I think he's going to have extended soon. Sometimes I throw a dust sheet on mine. My garage is integral so is super super dry and never really that cold in winter. But storing a car in a damp garage is worse than storing it outside IMO.
  2. Absolutely revolting. Been posted many times. The cage is as comical as the rest of the car.
  3. Great to meet you today Gary! Safe travels!
  4. That's a shame Dave! Would have been good to have you there. Shame there aren't any canals in Dorset, you could have made an appearance! Have a great holiday - I'm sure we'll catch up later in the year. Good to see you today! :)
  5. Should we have had a trophy for the biggest oil slick left? Mondo, Exxon Valdez has nothing on you! :p
  6. I guess I was the only person who didn't get burnt! I'm the colour of turd now though!
  7. Yeah I'd say it was! Very good, both tone and finish. Never going to get it spot-on as the materials are different, but it's damn close and better than Nissan's effort!
  8. Picked up my wheel from Mondo today at Coventry! Over the moon with it and can't wait to fit it.
  9. Agreed! Great day out and thanks to those who organised!
  10. Only managed to get 1 photo. Turnout was great, more turned up after I took this. My favourite car in the club scooped 2 awards and deservedly so, we'll done Joel!!
  11. 31st of July Dave. Be good to see you. :)
  12. Just got home myself! Fab day, weather was perfect! A good time had by all! See some of you in Beaulieu in a few weeks time! :D
  13. No, it's still in my car as my package hasn't turned up with the new one! You'll have it at the end of the show! lol
  14. I'm picking Jimmer up about 7/7.30. We should be up there around 9.30 I'd imagine. Z cleaned and fuelled and ready to go! :D
  15. Plain is more easy on the eye - IMO of course. :)
  16. If you must, try http://www.fancyplates.com Personally think they're a little on the tacky side.
  17. Thanks dude. Might try and get a brand new one from Nissan tomorrow or Saturday.
  18. Yeah, but yours cranked. It was pretty hot earlier and any form of engine heat accompanied with ambient heat is likely to screw up an already failing relay (I'd have thought anyway - I can't think of what else it would be unless it was a starter solenoid, but I didn't hear the relay click to begin with).
  19. Indeed, however I'd still say it's done remarkably well for the last decade! Been an awesome car and if the relay is the only thing to go wrong in the last 10 years, I'm a lucky *******! :)
  20. Possibly, however, it re-started when it was hot just now, but the driver's side wing area would have been cool as it's had airflow around it cooling the area where the starter relay is sited. When it was parked at my folks', the sun was beating down on that part of the car where the relay is. I had this issue on Vauxhalls of old, except it was for the fuel pump relay - relays do the same things when they start to go wrong.
  21. Haha! I'm convinced it's now the relay. The drivers side had been parked in the sun for a few hours (car lives in the garage) and relays do not like getting hot when they're on their way out. I'll get another one. It's now back home in the garage, I've gotten the onset of a migraine, so laying low until tomorrow. I started it up again once I'd gotten home and it was fine, although I noticed a momentary pause (almost not noticeable) before the starter engaged which is why I think it's the relay that's gone south. Other than fitting the rear coilovers last weekend, no and as for the interior, not for a good 6 months, no.
  22. It's just started....all by itself! How odd...Wonder if it was the relay - gotten hot as the car has been out in the sun, cooled down and is now working. I can take it back home and jack it up!
  23. No, absolutely nothing. OK, will try that! Passenger side isn't it?
  24. No, it's as if the starter has zero feed. I am convinced it's the immobiliser though. It acts as if the immobiliser is been disengaged but has failed leaving the power to the starter relay off. What was wrong with your wiring?
