High horse? Don't think so, not in the slightest sence of the phrase. It was merely a subjective observation which was true.

Wasn't so long ago that a few members that shall remain nameless were taking the piss out of the legendary 6R4.

Well, one of the turbos didn't have its actuator plugged in so one side was running unlimited boost. Must have buggered the pistons and rings and then just got worse.

Mmmmm, hope it is that good. I do want the thing back. I think it only ran properly for the first month of ownership. Still not really very convinced by the Zed.

If you remember that, do you also remember Dooby Ducks Disco Bus?

Christ I remember that! Gruey was played by Kieron O'Brian. It was a kids TV series from the 80s. Sort of thing that you'd find on a Wednesday evening after Newsround.

Cheers Alan. I have lost heart with the thing totally. Maybe I'll regain interest in it when I get it back.

Me too! Well, should have it back in a few weeks fingers crossed, supposed to be taking it to France at the end of next month. That's still within scope. But feels miles away.

*******!!! Lol

Well, the engine was taken out of my Zed last week and was stripped today to rebuild. After stripping, have found the engine is way past repair. Supprised how it still ran as smoothly as it did as it's pretty much suffered catastraphic failure. 3 pistons had chunks missing out of them, the oil in the base of the sump was so full of swarf it gave it an almost metallic finish, also two valves had burnt out due to the chronic breathing issues. Bores are scored as well of course. Amazing really, those that know me know that I drive the thing like an old man, hardly ever drive it on boost and I rarely drive it full stop plus it had only done 50k.....and it ends up basically like chocolate. Luckily the spare buggered engine that gixxar sold me is actually rebuildable. So work starts on that one soon.

It probably is an MX-5!

Happy Birthday pal. Maybe see you at JAE. Si

YUK!!! Sorry bud, but nooooooo. Rims look good Dave.

I'm taking my zed to France in 4 weeks time.....it's in bits too. But should be back with me maybe next weekend.

Gutted! I'd be the first person on the phone if you were!

Bet you're itching to get your sticker Jon! ;)

Tommi Kiara spoiler is the nicest....but alas, you cannot get hold of that anymore.

Yeah I like that very nice.

That's a slightly different model, but yeah, those are available there, but max size is 7.5 I called them and apparently the buyer is back in tomorrow and he might be able to help.

I am trying to source a pair of trainers made by Adidas called 'Goodyear Adi Racer Low'. Now there are quite a few styles in the range, but I am after this specific model which is finished in blue suede. So I saw them in our local Adidas shop and the guy there said because they are a seconds store, they cannot buy in requested stock. The ones they have are size 11 and I want a size 8. Well I've been online and cannot for the life of me find anywhere selling a size 8. 7.5 seems to be the max. Footlocker don't list them and they aren't on ebay. Can anyone help?

The one with no front plate? Is it really? Thought his has standard rimmage. Looks really nice there Uncle Chunkle. Goes to show they need little doing to them to make them look nice.

Who's is the silver na Z with the dark coloured dished rims? Lovely car that one.

LOL...yeah.....hmmmmm. hehe Mine will be back soon and hopefully I'll be able to regain some confidence in it.

Cool vid! Shame I wasn't there with my Zed. It'll be back soon though I hope.
