Absolutely gio. I did see the damaged pulley and I've have seen some of the horrors. I will for sure be going there :-) can't put a price on safety to be fair

I must add that the parts come to 500 so it's just the parts the are the killer. Actually a reasonable quote and having the reassurance that professionals will be doing it

I have just had a reply from zed world and it will cost me almost 800 but that's the full works including auxiliarys etc. it's what I was expecting but I don't exactly have that to play with at the moment, and don't wana take it to a back street garage. Best save like mad and not drive the car very much

I know I won't be attempting it lol it looks like a giant pain in the ass!! I'm still going to get the car and drive it as little as possible. Save up the cash and get it done. He cars a bargain so it justifies it I suppose

The zed I might be buying tomorrow is really nice and I'm looking forward to it. But the owner doesn't know when the cambelt was done but says the previous owner was an enthusiast and a mechanic. How much does it cost generally for a cambelt change?

Yup I've made my mind up I just hoping this fella is willing to deal. I have to say I think it's a pretty fair deal and he is only 66 miles from me rather than 130 odd. Result!

Do you think 1900 is over valued? I paid 3495 for it 14 months ago and they hold their value quite well. Ill defiantly have a serious think and I may even go down and do it tomorrow you never know. Ill keep everyone updated :-)

He didn't hang up as such but defiantly hurried me off the phone, I'm going to have a think abut it tonight and decide in the morning. It's a long way to travel if we can't make a deal

1950 its valued at trade in price I asked for 400 quid my way because he can stick the skoda up for about a grand more than the nissan and it will defiantly sell faster than the nissan. He offered me 200 quid but I can't afford to only have 200 on top. It'll cost 80 odd quid in fuel to get home lol

Wow. What a waste of time that dealer is, very disappointed in the conversation, sounded like he couldn't wait to get me off the phone. He will tax it and there's no rust. And before I could have a chance to ask my questions he was hanging the phone up asking for me to come and see it!! Unbelievable! Sounded a decent car too. Last owner had it for 16 years and was always garaged!! Bit stuck here to be honest

I did notice the exhaust not being aftermarket. I couldn't decide whether that was a good sign or bad to be honest
