Completely agree, front end is rather nice, but with that heavy old lump upfront I reckon an NA would be quicker and more fuel efficient. Just buy an engine bay dress up kit if you want it to look fancy.

Our cat whisky was also 19 and exactly the same thing happened a month ago. He was dopey and didn't care for cars, after being ran over twice previously in life, the third time was too much :( had to take him to the vet to be put to sleep :(. sorry for your loss bud, apart from family and friends there's nothing worse in life than loosing a pet :(

could be a few things, possible a knackered or really filthy EGR Valve. or a dodgy crank position sensor?
