Welcome to civvy street Royal!
Yeah, the CCNP is my main focus at the moment. I'm in a reasonable position if the worse did happen as I've got my CCNA and my MCSA (not that I want to go back to servers), and at least will have probably half of the CCNP in the next few months and probably the other half a few months later. Plus the current job has given me some very good commercial experience building networks. Just didn't expect to be having to think about it all again so soon. Still with any luck I wont get effected by it all, touch wood as the zed will need more tyres soon! Funny you should mention linux as I was going to re-install it on my home network as I could do with having a more network orientated setup than windows.

1 Day this pain will end!
Christ thats full on. I really don't think people or the medical profession treat depression and the like in the right way. I remember feeling depressed and like I was going crazy many times through lack of sleep or bad times in the Marines. I'm sure the brain and your moods are just like other muscles in your body. If its tired, or hurt it doesn't work properly and all of a sudden people think they are going crazy, which makes it ten times worse because then it gets into a vicious downhill cycle. Your bro is still your bro mate, he's just lost it with his condition. Family is family no matter what happens or how wrong it is. Have you spoke to him at all since it happened? I guess its up to him and Megan to get over it all and move on. I can't begin to imagine how it must be for you, but keep your chin up. Dave Don't add yourself to the list of casualties Jon. I hope something will sort itself out somehow

Welcome to civvy street Royal!
Wow, only been in civvy street for less than 6mths. Really fell on my feet getting a great network engineers job, been working really hard to gain experience of civvy street and got a top quality report and chuck up for the first 6mths. Now the company is making several thousand people redundant!! They've offered voluntary redundance deals which people can go for , and either get realeased or refused, and once that phase is over they'll do compulsory redundancy to get rid of who they want. We're hoping that our side of things wont get effected so much as we're super busy. Can't help worrying that I could end up on a later list. I guess they'll probably get rid of a lot of managers first, followed by the 'dead wood'. Then they'll probably look at people like me who havn't been here long. I was tempted to go for it just to see if they would let me go , at least I'd know where I was for sure then. Either job hunting with a small wad of cash or definately staying. I don't want to push the decision though by applying for it. I'm half way through my cisco CCNP qualifications and didn't really want to leave while doing them. I've decided to just stick it out and see what happens as the cash isn't really worth much compared to the experience I'll gain even in just a few months. Hopefully won't get effected, and I guess I shouldn't have any major problems finding another job, but this is a good one though. Bit of a shock really as Royal Marines don't get made redundant!!

So do you want to tell what happened? The first thing I think when reading the papers is what really happened, no matter how bad or one-sided it might look at first.

Just look at the quality of the food you eat. White bread has no nutritinal value so eat some kind of wholemeal multigrain if you eat any. Loads of good quality veg, as fresh and un-processed as possible. Avoid all the processed junk, its just as quick to make a stirfry as it is to make a 10min microwave meal. Obviously you'll need to go through several weeks of 'ColdStellaTurkey' which will involve sweats, headaches, shivers and general feeling like pooh. But then you'll be a new man feeling great! Oh and slimmers pills are speed or caffeine in another form!

Help, Just Bought A Z Some Has Noises Any Advice?
Try looking for sealant repairs to the rear cam seals, I've seen a couple of leaks there and it drips onto the exhaust. Sometimes people try to bodge repair it by covering the seal. Also the outside of the rocker cover but you probably wont see this with the manifold on. The inside of the rocker cover would drain into the V of the engine and down through the gearbox bell housing.
