  1. I'm waiting for the answer too, I've got a couple of sheared bolts on the front. It didn't look like they would come out seperately but I may be wrong?
  2. I'm sure someone more knowlegable will give a proper answer, but basically avoid the sponge based ones. My hks one works excellently in the dry, but doesn't like the wet at all (I just have to take it easy so it doesn't suck at the rain). I think the twin ones put the cones in a better spot, also splash guards may be a help. Sorry for the poor answer.
  3. A guy I used to know had a bit of an obsession with dwarfs, but thats another story. Dave
  4. pmsl , thought it was the Zed too! Dave
  5. Ohh dear, had to hide that website from the missus!
  6. Not likely sonny! respray or no.
  7. This is what you really meant!! Come on then Si, reckon I deserve some comeback here!!!! Dave
  8. Proud of those Zeds. Keeping the badge good! Dave
  9. Couldn't understand why these breather hoses just pop out when I rebuilt my last engine. Seemed odd that the seal would be good enough? They don't seem to be fastened at all, just sitting in their space. Dave
  10. Go on then, stick a phot up, you know you want to.Plus it makes the forum look pretty! Dave
  11. Havn't met Mac yet. How aerodynamic are you mate?!
  12. Be aware with elephant that you are locked into their 10month policies. You don't gain 1 yrs no claim at the end of the policy! its run over 10mth to make you renew the policy as the other insurance companies wont accept the 10mths no claim. They are very cheap though. They also don't cover boost controllers by the way.
  13. Thats the last. I've got them in hi-res if anyone wants them. You'll have to wait until next week though when I've got broadband again. This dialup is driving me nuts! Dave
  14. Didn't come out all that great, the camera video is pretty poor. I can post it if someone has somewhere I can put it? Heres the phots, quite similar to ones already posted. Theres a couple that are ripe for photoshopping though! Havn't had time yet myself! Dave
  15. Yeah, the big turbo'd beasty! Did you see the vid with the dodge viper racing the Hyabusi? Wouldn't have thought it before but it looked all real. Dave
  16. Never used a GPS myself so don't know. But dont they do altitude? or is it just flat mapping? Excuse me getting off subject and talking boll*X but was just curious as I've stubbornly refused to touch gps's as I like my map reading in the mountains.
  17. Wasnt the Zed there 96th best or something?? better than being in the worst book!
  18. Whats been done otherwise to the inside? turned down 15k? surely its not worth anywhere near that unless its either a new year or had some serious engine fiddling. Shiny outsides is all very well but I'd expect a very strong, probably new engine for that sort of money. Dave
  19. Fair one, measured as the crow flies I guess? but covering more distance up and down hill. Have to watch out for that when pacing in the mountains. You know you've covered a couple of Km of hard slog, but the map just shows 1km with tight contours. Dave
  20. bimp! no one interested?
  21. HA ha pmsl. Hi Beaty, don't worry mate everyones friendly! Do I detect scottish chav speak?!
  22. Me and the missus would definately be up for a good night out. We don't really know anyone around here so would be good. It will be a bit touch and go whether I'm here though, the later dates are probably more likely. Bristol would be easiest for us, unless we all stay in a big tent! Dave
  23. Mate, if you had children you'd just accidently eat them anyway!
