i think it all depends on how you drive them. as has been seen from the replies here, some can be ok for upwards of 5yrs. i have blown 2 engines this year! :cry: but i do drive it very very very hard. thats why i own a car like this!!! i have a small diesel car to drive normal so rape the zx whenever possible!!! take from this whatever you will. best of luck.

had my tt manual showing 192mph on apexi avcr. still some rpm left just no more power left. my rev limiter is set at 7800rpm. gonna try for more next year when i goto nurburg again.

how good is a new nissan oil pump? i am currently getting parts ready for my rebuild and am wondering if its worth getting a uprated oil pump. any opinions on this? Chris.

bit of a strange one for me really. the least i've done is 89miles from full to the light just coming on, most of it racing a few mates in 300zx, rx7 etc. but the most i've done is when i filled up at the filling station/cafe just outside the nurburgring and made it all the way back to west yorkshire before the light came on, and we werent exactly going steady driving through germany/holland, averaging around 100mph and topping out at 174mph on a couple of occasions!

yes, definitely a scam. if they were that desperate to sell it to uk market you'd think they'd take a week off and come back to uk and sell it to a dealer here and get a flight back to spain. Chris.

on my import it had the rear fog fitted in the same place as the uk models, as shown in the picture. apparently if you take the bumper off there is a cut out on the inside so just cut it out from the inside. hth. Chris.

lol. as skyline dave says, you need to have at least a chipped ecu to be running 1bar, and simple things like always running V-power fuel (or similar), and good plugs ( i personally use DENSO IRIDIUM ). Chris.

when you are in the screen which shows your boost levels, press previous until you get to screen showing monitor,settings,etc. press down to highlight settings, it will either be A B or OFF, if you want to set high boost press right till it shows B, press next, this will show you what your boost controller is set at. to alter your boost levels you need to press right to highlight it then use the up n down arrows to reach your desired boost level. then press previous till you get the monitor,settings,etc screen, highlight monitor n press next till its on the original screen you started on. if, when the car is driven, the boost level is too low or too high, go back to the boost settings and use the duty setting to rectify. if boost is too high, turn the duty down or if boost too low turn duty up. just be carefull if you buy a 2nd hand engine. i recentely bought a 2nd hand engine which i was told was a good engine, only to find when i put it in it had lazy lifter, smoked and after only 450miles had used 5ltrs of oil and now the bottom end is knocking! :cry: i'm just gonna build my own engine now. at least i'll know its right!
