Well on another forum I use occasionally I posted up asking peoples opinions on the zed and pro's/con's. One of the responces I got was this For the short time I've been a member on here, I can safely say that is not what I've found at all. Right from the very beginning I was made to feel welcome, and the site and its members are very friendly. I've had offers from people willing to view vehicles for me if they were local to them, a very kind and generous offer, to members actually knowing the car I've ended up purchasing (Sonic's zed). Also on the few questions for info I've asked, everybody has been very helpful and either giving the info needed or pointing in the direction for the correct info. Just want to say thanks for every body making me feel welcome and a part of the club and I hope to meet some of you in the future at some local meets, hopefully get to a few of the more national ones next year. I will be subscribing just as soon as I've been paid from work (a tight month this month after buying the zed too). So, thanks again guys. Colin

They look brilliant on the zed and really suit a black car too. I've got a set of these on my driveway, but don't think my brother would appreciate his 350z loosing a set of wheels lol.

Thanks for the info. I've now had the chance to do a bit more research on them being I had a brand name to go from. They are Ace 157's.

What about a Saturday afternoon or Sunday eve meet at a pub?? The thrasher on Nacton road has a decent sized car park and seating outside too. I don't work Saturdays so any time of day is good for me, Sunday's I work until about half 1-2ish. but again after that time I'm easy. I used to frequent Ipswich regularly and knew it quite well, haven't been in ages though and have probably forgotten most of the area. Date wise either the weekend of 11th/12th or 18th/19th???

Hi guys, just wondering if the two red zeds i see today, have seen both on several occasions, were any of you? One is a G plate with standard wheels (painted gold) usually on plough road, Great Bentley The other is a H reg with full bodykit etc on Old School Lane, Elmstead. Doesn't look like its moved in a while though.

Now officially a Z32 owner :) Put down a deposit today, pick it up in a couple weeks time.

Thanks for all the input guys, the car is a UK model with a few mods, but will be sticking to Tesco's Momentum99 as that's the nearest petrol station for me (plus the fact I work at tesco too lol) and the cheapest in the area.

Thanks for your offer of info on the car Stu, just one thing I'd like to ask which hopefully you will know the answer to. Inside the car just underneath the headlight switch there is a control module, which has a switch with "blue - Green" above it and on same control module a dial ranging from min to max. What is it for??

Well been down to the garage today, had a good look over the car and also took it for a test drive. Pleased to tell you its going to be staying in the club a little longer as I put down a deposit on it, should hopefully be picking it up in the next couple of weeks.

Ok cheers for the info guys, i use super in my bike, so going on what you've all said I'm going to use super in the zed once i have it.

Hi guys Just wondering what fuel you would recommend using in a zed. Do they run better on super unleaded or is it safe to use standard? I know with the 350z (my bro's car) that it states in the handbook to use super unleaded or it will retard the ecu/power. Thanks

Cheers for that, yeah Ive spoken to garage and they said they were selling on behalf of a customer that had moved to the US. Feel a little happier knowing that its obviously been well cared for by a member on here. Don't suppose you know of any threads about its history, had a quick look but can't find anything on it.

Hi guys, I believe this could well be a members car as noticed its got the website on side windows. I'm going to view/test drive this on saturday and providing all goes well will be putting a deposit down on it. Does anybody know for definate if it is a members car, and if it is, is there a build/project thread on it here on the forum I could have a look through to gain abit more info on it. Many thanks

Only specifics Ive got at the moment are it must be a manual twin turbo. As to what I was pying on the mx5 insurance wise. I paid £400. Hi guys, just signed up as looking into getting a manual tt and thought this would be a good place to start to find info about them. Been looking at a couple on ebay, but they are a bit of a trek away from me though they do look to be well kept. Got an insurance payout coming in the next few weeks and will be buying the car from that so would like to get a good one to begin with. Currently driving a mk1 1.6 mazda mx5, insurance will go up a stagering £75 to change mid policy (9 months left) so mind has been made up for a z32.
