I spent a couple of months back packing a few yrs ago.... Didn't really do the "party" stuff above lol but there are some things u GOTTA do 1. Tiger temple, taking a fully grown tiger for a walk through the jungle, one of the best days in my life. It's near katcumburi so u can do the "bridge over the river Kwai" thing too 2. Koh Tao, stay in a hut on stilts on the beach, really chilled few days 3. Full moon party ......OMG what a blast, and off your face lol

Check with airline with regs about seating mate, under certain age they on your lap and u don't get a separate seat ! Best thing we took (if lazing by swimming pool holiday) was a travel cot, was great for night but god send in the day as you can use it like a play pen, use a umbrella for shade and no worries about SPLASH !!!!
