it does sit slightly lower now as the pics were with different shocks, and its my favorite marvel character as bit of a geek really so decided on project silver surfer so seemed like a good idea lol, and with the other interior just have a weird idea rolling around my head and want to see if i can do it or not....

its ok mate no offence taken but i really like the way it looks and once its sprayed and has all the finishing touches it will pull together, i am changing the coloured interior to match the seats better though...:yes:

thanks for the replys guys, dont think ill be going with the chrome wrap, its a bit too much even for me but will be having graphics on the outside to finish off the design so should tie in well, and for the coloured parts inside they are all going to be swapped out for the same colour as the seat inserts but will be marvel comic strip instead of just the names so should look alot better, but had to try the colour first :blush:

cheers im hoping to get it back on the road in the next couple of months, but got a smokey problem just hope it not the tub seals...all the colour in the car is going to be changed as not how i wanted it but getting there slowly:confused1:

yeah been real busy, got loads of pics ill get some up on here...it not finished and have new plans for the door cards and console but getting there, retrimmed all my myself with some help from debs and done all bodywork myself, list so far done is... front and rear bumpers with skirts to go on, new shocks and springs lowered 40mm full auto to manual conversion done with 1 piece prop, 6 puk clutch and lightened fly, spl racing ecu, full s/s decat japspeed exhaust, interior gone bonkers, twin mushroom filters, also have ally massive core rad and silicone hoses to fit, amongst loads of other bits... still loads and loads to do.....

hi guys i want to put a manual balance bar on my zx and connect up the clutch booster as the clutch after the manual conversion is so heavy, does anyone have a good how to and know what bits id need, i have the manual balance bar sorted but i am lost from there on.... cheers all:sad:

have you got any pics of your spoiler skin as the one i have on mine is a cheap one and is cracked, has the 3rd brake light in though, but can live with out that, and price please mate cheers

that sounds exactly like what mine is doing, also sometimes a judder from one side, like the wheels are out of alignment? think ill just have to change it all for good measure lol....dont know which way to go for suspension as cant go low due to where i live, and not too firm......due to where i live lol, roads are shocking!!

cheers mate ill get it up on my day off, ive had 3 now but never had these problems before, but hey like you say im not along with problems and want to uprate all the busehes ect anyway, the tires are new bridgestones on the rear and kumho on the front so hope its not them, just do it bit by bit anyway, not too fussed with power yet as think there is enough for now, but do want it to handle as well as my money will allow first, then looks, then the hunt for power with a manual conversion in there somewhere..... cheers for all the great help though guys!!

very handy threads, thanks, dont know if id trust myself with an angle grinder and my suspension, can see the outcome now.....one less finger, blood everywhere, and ball joint totally un touched lol...

got it with 6 mths test and the 4 wheel alignment done, and the step out happens more in a straight line than cornering, and just if the back is jolted over a bump or something, just feels really odd, and the rear seems overly spongy on the shocks while driving, they are standard shocks and springs, but i cant see any weeping from them??

thats a shame as skint now from getting the car, typical lol, been told buy a few people that these are good kits too!!

hi guys just got my car and find it to be quite wallowy in the rear, and if you hit a pot hole or lump in the road it seems to snatch and grab at the back, feels like the wheels are loose, ive had a look around but not 100% on what i need to check, im thinking its drop links and arb bushes, also ive been advised to check the hicas, there are no warning lights, but would like to lock it off any way, does anyone else have any ideas as dont want to pay out if i dont need the bits? thanks

thanks, got a million and 1 things id like to do but bit by bit i think is the way....have to sort the niggle problem ive got with the rear first, bit wobbly, thinking it needs new droplinks and arb bushes also going to eliminate the hicas, then suspension....
