I saw 2 this morning. The first was a black shortie at around 08:00 this morning on houndmills road in basingstoke. Then an hour later a red k plate uk spec coming out of godalming at about 09:00. I was in a sainsburys truck. Good to see some nice zeds on the road now the sun is out. :dance:

if a litre of petrol cost 90p it would be broken down like this. product 23.2p retailer 6.3p (including delivery to the forecourt) duty 47.1p v.a.t 13.4p so the tax man gets 60.5p out of every 90p litre. We are the second highest in europe at the moment only behind the netherlands who pay 100.3p a litre. Big surprise that the u.s.a is the cheapest at 37.5p

firstly hgvs or any thing towing trailers cannot use lane 3 and i never sais i loved doing it i just said i do it because the people i do it to have pissed me off and i do it to get my own back.

i have no problem with people having an opinion. I dont hold up people for the sake of it, as that really would be silly and counter productive. It just seems that in this thread and the ferrari thread that if your not willing to drive like you stole it all the time then a 300 is not the car for you.

i hold up about one person every year and that is because they have really pi55ed me off. Why is it then that it seems ok on this site for people to nearly kill other road users by overtaking where they shouldn't or doing other dangerous things but i hold a scum of the road up for a few miles and i get slated? Is it because you all have a fast car so everyone else should get the hell out of your way? I am without a zed at the mo and i am in the market for one, but if owning one makes dangerous driving perfectly ok then i think i will just go without thanks.

im not saying i do own the road it just annoys me that narrow minded car driving twats think that they can do what the hell they like with total disregard for any other road user. we are all equally entitiled to use the same piece of road, just because some twat has a faster car they dont get priority over anyone else

how many times have you been on a motorway and left a 2 second gap and not had it filled by some twat?

it is down to the person who is doing the overtaking to make sure that it can be done in a safe way. If there is any doubt then they should stay where they are. Dont get me wrong i overtake people all the time but is it really worth killing someone just to be five mins early?

i love to see these people coming up behind me in my work vehicle as i drive artics and im limited to 56 mph and i will hold them up for as long as i can. then pull in and watch them go!!! im surprised they can stay in a straight line sometimes with them shouting at me the way they do :rofl: :rofl:

if you are overtaking in heavy traffic there is no safe way of doing it. I spend all my working time driving on the roads an i am fed up with having to drive in such a way as to compensate for idiots on the roads.Such as middle lane hoggers, people who dont know what the orange light on each corner of thier car is for on roundabouts and people how drive in a dangerous way when traffic is heavy because they think they are better than everyone else.
