  1. Hi When i brought my Z it came with a set of dump valves We fitted one, and was about to fit the other one when we saw it was fooked buy possible water damage Does anyone know who make these? As at the moment I am running 1 dump valve and one recirc. Any one got 1 dump valve for sale?

  3. Hi I swapped the maf over with my brothers on friday, disconected the battery to reset the ecu But it hasnt changed the sudden loss of power. I thought it could be the jdm speed limiter but I read somewhere that it wouldn't get up to that kind of speed in 3rd I have my brothers boost leak tester but I have no idear how to use it
  4. i brought it of johnboy on the forum it was brand new and still in the bags i dont have a picture of it as one of my brothers friends did the maunal gear conversion
  5. Hi I brought a short shift for my tt but it seems like it has done nothing. it definitely moves a lot more then my brothers with a short shift what would cause this? Cheers
  6. hi sky if it helps my brother has the (conzult i think its called) software on his laptop and is just up in cambourn im sure he will plug it in for you to see if you have any error codes?
  7. The plugs are brand new ngk iridium number 6's How much is the going rate for a A MAF? Any one got a working one?
  8. I just took it out for a quick spin It seems to pull alot better in 1st and 2nd But back into 3rd got up to about 5250rpm and I hit the mysterious limiter
  9. 3rd and 4th is were i have noticed it as its normaly on a good bit of road when open it up but the slowish reving seems like its in every gear
  10. it goes ok but the revs seem a little slow to pick up up to about 5k in 3rd then it feels like i hit the limiter/fuel cut the same in 4th (and presumably in 5th) its boosting at about 0.4 bar the exhaust has been changed to a full mongoose cat back with decats full 60k service and thermostat fuel filter oil filer and spark plugs manual gear conversion recirc's have been reinstalled for now as coke bottle lids had been used instead of turbo blanking pugs
  11. i have cleaned the MAF and air filter and still the same the car was fitted with new plugs and timing belt the car was fitted with BOVs but at pestent has recirc's fitted would a boost leak cause this? cheers

  17. We have pluged it in and originaly it came up with the nok sensor which we then bypassed It is only boosting at about 7psi aswel which if i remember right is safty boost I was looking at other reasons it will be like this while I wait tor my brother to plug it in again
  18. hi I went on a crusie with a few mates last night everything was going fine untill i hit about 5-5.5k rpm then it felt like i hit the limiter this happened a few times in the night any ideas what could cause this?

  20. Sorry NOZ, im pretty sure that ken said that is was a standard power map, I dont suppose you remember what kind of map was installed? Im not sure if they are the same plugs i got NGK 6 rating A friend of my brothers did the cambelt and the other work but he couldnt test on the road as it had no mot and his unit hasnt got the most room I am happy with it, but will be even happyier when the odd bits and bobbs are done
  21. im running a remapped ecu from Nos but its only for standard power im hoping its just the timing being out hopfuly having a look at that tommorow I will be plugin it in to the laptop soon to see if there is any fault codes

Hi I have been on the forum for a little while now but i have just been waiting till my car was finished and on the road before i put up a post about (mainly as i know how you lot get about pics PMSL:laugh::laugh:) So here goes I have a black 1990 imported tt brought of kenztwinturbo after his traffic island incident I brought this as a a auto but has now been converted to a manual KYB and Eibach springs all round 18" wheels of my brother CyberBean Mongoose quad exit exhaust with decats (surprisingly quiet) After market air filter A rear lock out bar As it was off the road and i had no real history on the car it got a few things done Full cam belt kit full of Nissan boxes and bags :biggrin: kit curtsey of Mike at MJP New spark plugs New oil filter New engine oil New oil in the gearbox and diff Fresh antifreeze I am probably forgetting a few thing It needs a good wash Just a couple for little problems The gearbox had been sat for about 4 years so its a little tight but it feels like they are loosening up (except 1st which is a :asshole:) The speedo reads 0 all the time so i dont have the power steering It also seems slow to rev especially compared to my brothers when he is sat next to me. a friend thinks it could be the timing being out Any help or links to about these problem would be a great help Rich
  23. i think it is just under £30 before postage for one shell i have had a few shells on my cars after a bit of curb running and getting too close going too fast with friends
