Hi Gary, when you import cars for yourself you say all the risk is on your shoulders, did Steven understand all the risk was on his shoulders with this car? Sounds like the paint condition was under described, is there anyway you could bring this up with the auction house? Also, the other issue was the garage who prepares these cars for UK roads not doing their job properly, will you continue to use them?

Would it not be worth getting it repainted in silver? I know it's more money but it will be a decent example then. Or just sit on it for a bit? I've just seen on your other post you're £8k into it, so maybe not wise to spend more money on it. I still wouldn't rush into selling up.

You were right Joel. 220mm. The passenger side rear was 10mm different so hopefully now I've changed it it will be a better ride. Don't know why it was different, so called Zed specialist & his apes most probably.

Not helpful at all then. I would've thought an import company would have something in place for this kind of thing. That's why you go through them isn't it? For piece of mind that you're getting what you've asked for. Otherwise you might as well import it yourself, you're taking the same risk but you'll save money.

What's Gary's response been like to you? Is there a way you can claim money back from the auction place or is it all sold as seen even though its not as described.
