Saw these 2 cars in Cornwall last week & couldn't resist taking a picture. Dont know wot engine was in the fiesta but it looks quick! They both need those eyelashes on the headlights & they will be perfect.

I picked a great week to be in cornwall! I'll make the 3rd stop Crewe then, will sort it at the weekend when I'm back. If anyone else wants to meet up then let me know & I'll arrange another stop. Be good to tie our stops in with other regions aswel so we get one big convoy.

Loads of tea & a McDonald's! He is a top bloke, learnt a lot from him about these cars aswel. Yeh looking forward to JAE now Baz. Especially now I know the car will make it there.

I'm goin to cornwall on Thursday for a week. The hotels are expensive, especially in the more touristy places like st Ives & Falmouth. We could've gone abroad with what we've spent on hotels but thought we'd stay in this country for a change.

I took my car to Brian's house last weekend as he said he'd help me with a cambelt change and service on the car. As we dug a bit deeper into the engine he found a couple of problems like a water leak at the back of the engine and an oil leak on the cam pulley. So off came the upper and lower plenum. He suggested a water bypass while the plenum was off along with a couple of other jobs while the engine was in bits. I picked the car up yesterday and couldn't believe how well she drives. Great job mate! Also, he didn't charge me for doing this and gave me a load of spare parts & cups of tea. Great club spirit! Now I will definitely be able to get to JAE. Thanks again mate.

Yeh I think so mate. We'll confirm it all closer to the time. It'll depend on what time Gary arrives in birkenhead but roughly 8:30 at lymm.

I know Liverpool council now charge you £50 for just coming out to look at the job

We wanted to get 3 curb stones dropped and were quoted £1800 off the council, which is well over priced. We were told only the council are allowed to do it.

A cambelt change has turned into a much bigger job. Had to fix a water leak on the back of the engine so decided to do the plenum water by pass and a couple of other little jobs while the engine is stripped down. Gonna be well worth it when it's all done. Here's how she looks in Znut's garage. Been great working on it with him this weekend. Wouldnt have attempted this on My own.
