Swine Flu!!!
Apparently it aint that different from seasonal flu. In fact the latter is considered more dangerous as it (by comparison) has taken many more lives than swine flu. The dangers lie in the fact that any new strain of flu can be unpredicatble so hence the big scare? we have all just had colds and felt really rotten but nothing out of the ordinary. My Grandson was having trouble keeping he's food down but after 3 days its cleared up. So we are just going to see how it goes. What more can one do? Fingers crossed. HOINK HOINK!

Our BT VISION keeps doing the same and when you phone them they quote it will take 12 - 24 hours to get up to speed and it dont? So they get another call and you get the same old lies. I want rid :mac1:

Needs to be a 5 door and auto lowish miles late (2000+) and in good condition. I cant have her breaking down every other day :D So a clio would be very good if it meets the requirements :D;)

Another bloody car...
Well after almost a month of ownership I must say That the Jag has prooved to be a brilliant car. I am selling my 300ZX with a view to getting a N/A in the not too distant future. I am selling the skylines too. But for now I am having trouble parting with the Stagea. So going to keep that until I get the N/A. I need 2 cars as a minimum. Am going to try to get Rachel into driving and buy her a little 206 or similar but because of her hip she will have to have an auto.

1000 MPH Jet Car
Yeah but it wont go round roundabouts tho :D
-
50mph - going down without a fight?
With the population growing out of control coupled with the influx of thousands of immigrants the roads are fast becoming over filled with vehicles. As basic citizens we can see the problems this is causing so why cant the goverment? What you said makes perfect sense peranaman (sorry dont know your real name) BUT! the problem will get worse. Much worse in fact I predict it will go beyond our imagination as it already has say since 1990 (ish). IMO the driving test should be a whole lot harder to pass. They should introduce retesting after 10 years and they should also take freight back to the railways. As for speed limits? I think they are OK as they are with maybe the Nat on motorways being up graded to 80MPH and with the intorduction of wet and dry weather speed limits. This is the case in France as I remember and although I am not 100% sure it seems to work over there? vini

what do you reckon?
I love it Gaz. The grey looked OK too but the carbon is better. I have a vinyl cutter if you can get the exact dimensions I could cut you the vinyl? But not sure how much the vinyl would be in carbon look? I will find out.

what do you reckon?
IMO thats probably the best looking front I have seen on the 300ZX. :)

A great send off (oldgit)
Last week as you know we had the funeral of oldgit and I thought seeing as this club were very kind with regards and the flowers you might want to see some pictures of the day. It isnt the norm I spose to take pictures at a funeral but TBH this was no ordinary send off as you will see from the pictures: Outside our houses~: There were well over 100 cars all parked down the middle of the road and along side on the verges. The floral spread at the cremetorium~: There were even more cars at the crem; and they filled all 3 car parks to overfill. Then on the way back to the pub the POLICE kindly made a road block at the accident scene so as we could stop and place the flowers there and pay our last respects. They even took the big OLDGIT reef in their van as it was a bit big for the cars. The day went very well and I think Dave had an excellent send off. He would have been as proud as punch to think that everyone thought so well of him. Dave Rose (oldgit): Thanks vini

Stung again
If you read my original post you should have noticed the bit that explained that it is a motorised dish and he has set it to automatically pick up 15 sat's which have been stored and are ready at the push of a button. Which is why it took him a while. That isnt the problem. I have got the hump because I was fooled into thinking that it was FREE SAT with over 2500 channels various nationalities. But only about 5% of them are english free sat. ;) The fact that I have to subscribe was not mentioned in the sales pitch. Just goes to show that these things need to be investigated throughly before taking the plunge.:smash:

Stung again
As some know we got stung by MFI bought ther furniture paid cash BASH! they went under. Well not so bad this time but......... I bought a "FREE SAT" system from Maplins for £250 complete motorised dish and HD reciever with bullt in HDMI upscaller. Sounds great and it is. The picture is superb on HD but the thing is when the bloke sold it to me he said that this system was really good gave me the normal sales pitch and told me that I could get over 3000 channels both english and european. Again that bit was true. What he didnt mention is that 95% of the channels are Pay Per View so they aint free at all? I paid a bloke to come set it all up and it took him 2 and a half hours in all so no way was I going to get it right. PLease does anyonw know if there is a card or anything that can release all these channels for me coz TBH i aint got a clue. The reciever has ports for all different card sizes and formats :) For those that know what I am talking about the system is : Fortec Star Innovation Thanks vini
