  1. When mine WAS for sale I asked £2200 with no faults at all and could shift the bloody thing. Now I aint selling folk are thinking about spending the same kind of money on a fooked car? Steer clear mate and buy a car off this site. IMO. its always best to spend a bit more on a better car. Spend a few days reading past posts on here and you will see exactly what I mean. HTH vini
  2. I just got back from my hols in Cornwall. Quintrell doiwns. Wish it was next week I had gone now. Would have been great to come along.
  3. I aint done a lot short of that mileage since I bought my car TBH. :D
  4. I would say its more worth 7K fixed it would be worth 9K IMO. I was looking at an evo7 when but decided no and I got my ST220.
  5. nice car but not my cuppa tea. :D BUT AS 4X4'S GO IT ONE OF THE BEST imo.
  6. Stick it on "L" brackets in the big grille hole slightly leaning back into the hole either top or bottom. That will be legal and wont interupt any air flow :D
  7. wots a X5???? :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  8. I am suprised someone on here dont know the car? It was a UK manual and apart from the crud around the front bumper and a bit of wheel arching it was in good condition imo. Best colour too.
  9. Only on Sundays Issac :D
  10. Its my number gary. been on a few cars over the last 3 years or so. :D
  11. I think I took a bit of a gamble although it was a reasonable safe bet TBH. But it really has prooved to be a really great drive. My only negs are that every now and then when at a constant speed say 70 or 80 MPH it kind of misses a beat as if it wants more gas. the traction control is lazy and to get performance you really have to wind it up as if its got a rev band? the engine noise is lovely and I only wish I could get an exhaust that would amplify the noise as it really roars. A great all round car and I never thought I would hear myself say that about another FORD. BUT! Its still only a daily drive the 300ZX is the car to be seen in................:D:D:dance:
  12. You did have..lol.....................
  13. Good reliable cars Al.
  14. Me ol man has got a 2.0 Mk3 Mundaneo and parked next to it they look like 2 diffent cars. Like I said I love it and it really does the job. Am off to Cornwall next week for a well deserved break and when I get back the 300 should be ready for Taxing and driving. I cant wait to drive it again. Its been parked up since the new year although I do run it up and down twice a week. I will get stuck into your sig mate. sorry bout the delay BTW but as you know I aint been very well. :D:duffer:
  15. What! Not even a new sig pic.............. AND! It aint generally a reps car. JC says so. LOL. :smash:
  16. "HOWS THAT" LIBRARY PICTURE OF THE SEATS: YEP! Ford Mondeo ST220. in Silver with red leather Recaro.:cool: and! What a lovely car. It ticks all the boxes and handles very well. It isnt the best on fuel but for a 3.0 V6 it isnt bad. POWER??? Not bad. No where in the class of my 300 but quick enough to get you out of trouble should you need to :D I love it :p Even if the badge is BLUE. LOL.
  17. Thanks Rich. Its been a while. Not the Audi or Merc or the Saab although each of them was considered. :D
  18. Thats fookin great. Good job matey. I like doing things myself but they rarely come out as good as that. congrats.
  19. I got rid of the Jag. Lovely car very powerful and comfortable but in a word not very usable. The drive was too controlled if that makes sense? So I sold it then searched the net for a more practicle car. I wanted power, I wanted comfort and I wanted it to be a good family car. I also wanted manual and I wanted it to be modern / late with good looks and a bit of street cred. :D:dance: So what do you think I came up with? I was looking at spending £5000. or as near as. ................................................................ I have had it for just over 6 weeks now and I have found it to be everything I could want from the above list. Whilst looking I considered all the colours it came in and the level of trim. and for once in my life it was my market. Well accept when I got my 300ZX as I choose it from a few. So lets play the game. From the above can you guyess what car I bought? A few clues: Clarkson is a fan of this car and its a 2003 MODEL. It cost me £4995 dealer not private. with 58.000 miles. and full history. wanna play?
  20. I think "D" might be a direct pager to your bank manager?
  21. Kids will be waiting for it to turn into a bloody robot. Its awful.
  22. Dont go for a piss in John Lewis is the message in this story
  23. I like it and its got me tempted :D That with a cream leather seat and door card retrim wouild look classy :D I am going to watch this and if it aint too dear buy it. I have always fancied a cream with black or red pipeing interior...... maybe if I do buy it I could use some of the money to pay for a years subs on here?????:smash::rofl::rofl:
