  1. I know this might sound stupid but.............When you get the calipers they might go on without a bracket. Doubtfull but still possible? We all have some kind of hope in our lives:D
  2. Steve wont be in any rush either mate  he is so laid back he makes me jealous
  3. Look a bit lower on pauls sig pic>>>>>>>>:D
  4. Right. I am not sure if this is going to be any help but! Steve (Blackmagic) had some custom caliper brackets made by a friend of he's. They were pretty good and I think someone on the forum bought them after he broke the 300. I could contact him for you and ask if this problem can be sorted for you and if you PM me a number I will get him to ring you mate? like I said it might prove fruitless but maybe worth a try Vini
  5. I like it so much I just went and ordered one
  6. Agreed...:cool: What next though? The 4x4 crew are going to need something else now. I can see the Beemer being the possible favourite alternative??
  7. I dont want to get on your nerves but: :D I have sorted the headlights out now with a bit of trick wireing and I took the old girl for a short but substantial drive yesterday and she goes as well as ever. I didnt get the usual thrills but I was a bit worried that something might go bang. It didnt so the next trip will hopefully prove my theory that I did the right thing by keeping the car. :D
  8. Got to say mate. You are right. Do these people that wear the label on the outside really know how stupid it looks. But unfortuantely the human race will always be infected by exhibitionists. There is nothing wrong with showing off now and again but some take it to and beyond the limits of tolerance. Big brother springs to mind here. Still what would life be like if we were all the same?? :):)
  9. I like them. Wouldn't have one but they are a nice little car.
  10. PMSL. I would like a 350Z and own a 3 series. :D But not an M3 though, which would have been a better example I think? My 323i is without a doubt the best all round car I have owned. You hit the nail on the head with your last statement Mark. A more obvious example is the more widely known Skyline. I remember the Skyline as being the (flagship) for want of a better description? of Nissan's fast cars and the chances of owning one were similar to that of a porsche or Ferrari but now you can pick one up for under 3K.
  11. The only thing that the majority of the human race is interested in now a days is MONEY:mad:
  12. When all's said and done the 350Z is a very nice looking sports car. Its agressive stylish and like Nick said it has a good heritage so its no wonder that some snobs drive them and I have no doubt as time goes on they will probably inherit the position that the 300ZX has now? I wonder what type of owner the 300 had when it was new?
  13. In that case he might get he's tits out at JAE? :hurl::rofl:
  14. VERY NICE! I presume you are called Adam? You should leave a slightly larger gap between the M & Z. AND! When/if the car goes wrong you could put another gap between the A & D.
  15. I have noticed this. Not on every occasion but now and again. I would like a 350Z next and if I get one I wont respond to old nissans either. Bloody riff raff.:rofl::slap:
  16. I'm getting there, but! I have got the air blowing cold (not chilled) but it only seems to be coming from the top and bottom with nothing from the centre or door vents there are no controls that you can divert it manually are there? ANY IDEAS PLEASE? Thanks vini
  17. LOL. That was a moment of madness I must admit. My mate "old git" from the prelude forum put up a thread saying that I wanted to sell my 300zx and said I would consider a DEAL with a prelude. Nothing came of it and the car didnt get any interest on here either so I decided to go for broke and get it sorted. Hence this thread. I have had some indecisive moments with this car as I never seem to be able to get things done. I am (as I said ) glad it didnt go now :D
  18. Thanks lads. To top it off my mate has a body shop built at the end of his garden and he said to bring it round when its done and he will paint it for me in the colours of my sig pic. Cheap! :D So things are looking up and I am glad.....SO FAR.....that it didnt sell.
  19. The fact that the 300ZX was well before its time causes me to think that they could have made a better car out of the 350Z? Maybe the GTR is that car? But apart from that fact I think the 300ZX could have been a whole lot worst and therefore consider it to be spot on. The only flaws really are in the design. IMO. But thats what the 80's was all about............Poor design. Nothing that a few mods cant fix though.
  20. Sorry for your loss Dave. I know that life is only a short trip on the whole but its never easy to see your loved ones pass on no matter how much suffering they have had to bear. She sounds like a proper mum to me from what you have said and that alone is something that I am sure will give you something to smile about for the rest of you days. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family mate. All the best Vince
  21. Prefer the wheels in your sig pic :p
  22. I am pleased to say that I have spent the last week doing bits and bobs on my car like I promised myself and from the list of problems I have sorted most out and have only the low beam and air con and front tyre to sort. So JAE is looking good. My mate has offered to lend me he's RX8 but I would rather take my own car. Good news for me
  23. I aint read all the posts but going by the first page I gotta say this: The car is Lisa's and if she feels the need to bling it up a bit with chrome LED washer jets then IMO thats her choice. Personally I think they look good. I dont like Blue lights how ever but white is fine. Good on yer Lisa and if you wanna put LED's on your bloody car wherever you go ahead and do so. :)
  24. Many thanks for a great deal mate. The wheels fited on just fine although the front need 5mm spacers but I already had some so they are on and the ride is good. Heres them fitted. Top bloke nice to meet you mate see you at JAE. vini
  25. My guess::rofl::rofl:
