  2. You are defo looking for some slaggin from the birds there mate..... SPOT ON BTW.
  3. I have saved that in my favourites and if I ever get done use the fookin thing as evidence. I will be pleading that I have more experiance than him. I drive on average 1200 miles a week and have done for the last four years and haven't yet had a speeding fine or accident? If that don't speak for experiance then what does? I think its a fookin p155 take that the old bill get away with anything. The law it the law and no one is supposed to be above it.. I dont want to be around when the twat gets issued with a new fookin gun... :hurl: Makes me sick...
  4. Could make an entire new series of "Only fools and Horses" using the car as the main subject feature???
  5. I rememeber quite a few years ago when I lived in south London There was a big scare going round that the vivisectionist were paying people to steal animals for research. (true or not) it was a big concern as some pets had gone missing? AND another time when Dog fighters were stealing pets to train their dogs for the killer instinct? Just gotta be so careful.

I had to go with option 3: TWIN TURBOTS
  7. It cost me about £45. in all. about 240 miles so I am well pleased. I took it easy most of the time tho'. (average 80 mph) First long trip and hey presto I'm over the fookin moon. The car is a gem. didn't miss a beat and met a very nice man who is now a friend. Good day or what? :nana2: GOODNIGHT ALL.
  8. Ok I'll admit it then..... I saw this site and needed some friends. You see I was lonely. very very lonely. Now Im still lonely but people notice me more. Well not me really it's the car they notice. So I spose nothing has changed. all that money and Im still lonely.
  9. Glad to see that our lads can have a bit of fun out there. Good for them I say.
  10. Shame....
  11. Ain't puberty a nightmare.
  12. Thanks mate. you didn't get to eat those words after all. But we did have a lovely Steak....... Nice one the said item will be with you soon. Thats got the B'strds thinking...LOL  My bottle went  On the way home>>>>>
  13. I still think it would look better in red.
  14. Thats the seller keep coming back to see if any mugs have placed a bid or not. I aint knocking you Dave No way! I used to swear by the 2.8i like yourself was a lover but as I already said b4. I can't beleive these PPL. Stick it in a museum and let everyone see how dangerous driving used to be???
  15. I never had a Brooklands. But in my time have had 3 x 2.8 inj. Capris. Wot a lovely car in its day. IMO. But sorry don't care how rare, they aint worth 3 grand. I have seen Cortina's making 2.5 grand and nearly spat my beer out. It's madness. But thats what collectors are there for? So greedy B'strds can earn a fortune?
  16. I am working tonight in Crowborough near Tonbridge Wells. I was there last night too but my Astra Diesel van has become dangerous to drive (brakes / Wheel bearings). So shall I go to work in the ZED? its gonna cost me a fair bit in squirt and I haven't done any long trips in it yet. Its about 230 mile round trip using the A1 M25 and A26 so the cruise control can be used. What do you reckon its going to cost me taking it easy. About £50? :mac1:
  17. ANSWER TO PROBLEM 1...Take a hardnut teenager with you..... ANSWER TO PROBLEM 2...Take your own knife..... ANSWER TO PROBLEM 3...Wear something that makes you look younger...

  20. Hi folks. I have just been informed that the CD manual that I have made available actually belongs to "petrolheads NW" I would like to say sorry to Dave and promise him that the link will not be posted anymore. I had no idea that this was the case and just thought that I was doing fellow members a favour. Please accept my appologies Dave... :smash:
  21. Wanted one for years but a bit impractical with the Family and all. But now got mine as the (second car). Well thats what I told the ol' lady?
  22. Yeah but thats no good coz now they rub..... :headvswal
  23. Ok I know this sounds a bit stupid but mine did exactly the same. I was told to push all the plug leads down and it solved it? It is a common niggle apparently? You couldn't really see that the offending one was high unless you looked really close?
