Thinking out loud? I could strip the old wheel down and have the new boss welded to it and then I wont have to loose anything? I only paid £35 for the boss and its a collapsible job so it wouldnt be that hard to do? :headvswal :smash: :shock:

the first pic is the same as mine BM. looking from the seat. I am more worried now that if I just leave the HICAS thingy off what will happen? I assembled it and spun it slowly but there was no movement in the rear wheels at all? I am not at all bothered about the C/Control I am going to re-locate that in the centre consol or the horn I can get that to work its just that HICAS thing. Thanks Vince

LOL. Fook knows BM. I just took it off from the column after the steering wheel came off 4 screws holding it in place the side in the pic is the dash side when fitted?

Hi everyone. I am about to venture into changing my steering wheel. I have taken the old one off and noticed that where the wires are for the horn and C/Control are there is a disc with loads of slots with one larger slot. I have no idea what this disc is for I can see it runs through a module or something that the wires are attatched to. Can anyone tell me what this is please and is it ok to totally disconnect it? Thanks for your help. :bow: Vince
