LOL My mate is impressed just by the car alone Bri. He has driven it and knows what its like so nothing to prove there :cool: I often give the old girl a blast when it warms up especially if I am using Quavey's private road ;);) if I recall it was around 6000 revs and it felt like a total loss of power for just a split second on putting my foot down it went all the way without a blink and then about 5 mins later it did it again. I will check the MAF and make sure also that everything in that region is as it should be. I aint worried because I only give it some now and again so fook it as long as it dont get any worst I will leave it alone until after JAE as I have plenty of other things left to get sorted. Thanks everyone :bow: PS.BTW Bri it aint chipped as such mate. The ECU is an IMPUL item and is maxed out and can't be chipped.:cool:

Went for a spin today with my mate in my 300ZX I gave it a foot full and it went as usual like Shite Off a Shovel then all of a sudden at full revs it lost all power I took my foot off and back on and the power was back full bore. This happened twice with no other symptoms of any problems??? Its not a limiter as that is not present. Any ideas what might make this happen please? vini

The value of the Z32 as a whole is totally irrelevant unless you wish to sell or buy one. If you have no intention of doing either then why worry about it? If all of a sudden they became worth a lot of money lets say £10K for a half decent example instead of a few grand then how many owners would sell sell sell? Its like house prices, you bought a house in the 70's or 80's for £25.000 and its now worth £150,000. Great profit but if you sell and buy another thats going to cost you the going rate which is what you just got for your old one so unless you move into a counsil house there was no point? Mondea here I come :rofl: So if they do have a 300ZX on the show and trash it I dont think it will hurt any body who wants to keep the car. Apart from the fact that instead of "Wow look at that lovely car what is it?" you will get " wow theres one of them cars they trashed on Top Gear" :) It would be horrible to see though :shock:

nice one Bri. the only prob is that i just fitted another set of clocks and its still the same. But thanks bud. The problem is the steering is normal and then goes a bit heavy. After about 2 miles. I stop and when I go again it does the same thing. Sometimes however it might not go heavy for about 4 or 5 miles? Just another little thing for me to sus out. I dont mind though because its a learning curve for the future :)

Did toy with the idea of a traders policy but apparently you dont gain NCB and my son would have to have been 23 to be included. But all the best to you for beating the system. Well to a certain extent anyway? :cool: Although my son cant drive any other car even though he is FC but that again he has to be 23? I can drive anyone elses car as well :)

Sorry to hear this Chris. You was so enthusiastic about this too? The sooner the feedback system is working the better I say. I have every intention of fixing my own problems when they rear their ugly head as there are too many stories of under estimated repairs or the whole truth not being told? Ok any advice from anyone in the know would be very gratefully recieved here. As you may know I have been goiun g through some electrical probs. I am stumpped because I know nothing about the function of this device. I have printed a schemetic and understand that but the following have me at a loss: all A.C.S.D. cancel relay? clutch switch? cancel switch? main switch? hold relay? All I require if poss is an explation of what this system acctually does. My problems are the speedo isnt working and the steering goes heavy and light when it feels like it and I can only think that it must be this system. Thanks for any help vini

I insure my both cars and my sons Lexus through Admiral. They are not the cheapest but I get discount by having a multi car policy and the 300ZX works out to about £320 the BMW about £280 both FC with 6 years NCB My boys is around £900 FC which IMO isnt that bad especially for him at 21 yrs for a Lexus is200?

My mate had this problem and he has fitted a capacitor to help power up the audio and he also is running an inverter to power a laser and smoke machine all in the boot of he's Prelude:p
