Widest tyres fitted to 8.5" rears?
OK, if you have an 8" (200mm) rim and fit a 275mm wide tyre on it it will not stretch out and make the tread wider. It will raise the profile and make the tyre sit higher on the rim (if you went the other way and put say a 235 on a 9.5 rim then it would do the opposite). OK you might get a bit more width but the tyre will bubble over the rim edge and could potentially be dangerous. I know the bead of the tyre is not as wide as the outter tread portion but tyres are made to fit on the correct size rims and if you exceed these measurements especially on such a high performance car you could be in for trouble. Of course its up to you and this is only IMO. :)

Z low prices
This is what makes it a piss take: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1989-FORD-SIERRA-GLS-I-4X4-RED_W0QQitemZ200247433145QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200247433145&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C240%3A1308&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 and it will probably make the 1500 quid.

Could be a dirty contact on the relay or even the relay itself. Try pulling it and putting it back in

Coilpacks, can they be checked?
In a word NO! My sons Ross had 2 go down on he's is200 and there was nowhere that could check them. I bought 2 secondhand items and low and behold after fitting we found another weak one so had to get another fooker. Would have been great if they could be checked as it would have saved us some agro. The only way to really check them is to change them around. Find out what cylinder is not working and swap the packs around then you will have a bit of a clue but if you have more than one gone thi check is difficult to find the offending items. They can however be weak and not show up with this test. HTH Vini

Nah? Thats not so mate. Anything can be repaired and TBH I am not looking for perfection. All in all so far its costing me about £300 in materials. Like I said I am doing it all myself. Well with my mates help but as far as using all proper equipment goes its my first attempt. So no, not perfection but I am confident it will be very acceptable. The worst thing is fitting the time in between shifts. I get about 2-3 hours a day after work but it will be ready for JAE. Whatever it comes out like it will be better than it was:D

Its not exactly a garage. It is a bit shabby but its got all the equipment needed and there have been a few good re-sprays out of there to date. Of course a proper booth would be nice but also expensive and as the saying goes..............beggers cant be choosers. :D

Went to view a Stagea today.
I must agree that the VR4 is a nicer looking and performing car than the Stagea BUT! the consumption is about 10-20 MPG and that turned me off as I cant afford to run 2 TT cars the 300ZX is a killer on squirt as we all know. BUT! I still think the Stagea is a fine looking car especially modded and the MPG is more like 20-30 so much more practical IMO. :)

Went to view a Stagea today.
There is a model called the RS260. It has the 2.6 TT engine the same as the GTR Skylines. The place I went to have one but its £12.995. Sounds like a rough deal there dear. I will have to think about it?.................NO!

Went to view a Stagea today.
Dont get me wrong Athene almost evryone calls it the Skyline estate. But wikipedia also says that it is based on the Laurel I imagine that the fact that it has the RB25DET engine in it gives it the skyline title. But then again everyone seems to be calling the new GTR a skyline when it isnt really. But non the less I want one...........

Even though its not standard this is the potential that the car has:

Went to view a Stagea today.
I kind of had the same impression until I saw one today up close. They are nothing like a Volvo apart from it being an estate and they are not a skyline. They have the same running gear as a skyline but the car is based on the Nissan Laurel.

Went to view a Stagea today.
......Well whilst there I had a good old look at a Skyline 350GT. Seen 1 or 2 on the road and in pictures but never has the chance of a close look and a sit in one. What a lovely car. IMO they do a whole lot more for me than a 350Z. They have rear seats although they are as bad as the 300ZX having no leg room but the whole car is just the Dogs' B's. I also had a good look and sit in a couple of Stagea's and I must say I am very impressed. There was a Legnum there too but although it does look more agressive it didnt do it for me as much as the Stagea did. I need another estate car and this is the one I am going to get to replace the BMW. ;) The place is called AUTOBMC and they are one of the most friendly car companies that I have ever come across. Thumbs up to the guys there.
