  14. Most decent ICE outlets would do this for you. I was lookng at a good set of composites and the whole kit came with an amp to power the speakers.
  15. Cheers mate.
  16. Me again. Just took the car to the body shop and on arrival it was leaking coolant from under the near side wing from what I presume is the overflow pipe on the rad cap? The engine wasn't over heating and both the fans were purring away. Do you think this could be due to the fact that the air con hasnt been working for ages and because I had it on all the way (about 20 minute run) now working properly? Or could it be anything more sinister? No signs of any back presure or anything like that in fact there dosent seem to be anything amiss at all just this water leaking out. cheers vini
  17. Its OK jumping on the young lad but who knows what happened really? He was young and no doubt stupid who isnt at first he might have mis judged the vans speed he might have simply been thinking he had enough time or he may well have not even looked but its idiots in cars and vans that do 50MPH on small roads like that, that are at fault. No one should ever do those kinds of speeds on those kind of roads. Instead of a scooter it might have been a child running out? OK it wasnt but nevertheless the van driver should be locked away IMO. And on the fookin phone. I just dont know how these drivers can still have the nerve to use the phone not only whilst driving but speeding (as its obvious that he was) and on a small street like that? So if the vanman wasnt using the phone or going too fast the young fella would most probably still be alive only with a bit of gravel rash. An hard enough lesson in its self.
  18. "BMW" = Good car. Thats about it

  21. NP mate. Its what makes the world go round :)
  22. The thing is I spoke to this electrician and he told me when he gave the car back to the bloke I sold to and bought back off, it was all working as it should??? This plug has not in any possible way come undone on its own. Both ends were too far apart and the male end was squashed behind the fuse panel. Still water under the bridge now. :):)
  23. During the process of trying to get my car sorted I have had one head ache after the other as I have said in previous threads. Today I thought OK its time to remove the fuse panel and relays in the foot well drivers side. Just as I was pulling (gently) on the looms that surround it I noticed a black multi plug with nothing connected to it. I searched and eventually found the other side and managed to reunite the pair and guess what???? Yep! the list of problems I have been trying to fix magically fixed themselves. All this crap I have been trying to sus out was down to some idiot so called auto electrician not pluging one loom connector together? Anyway the car is sorted, The air con works great the speedo is good the power steering is nice and light the head lights are very bright the oil pressure gauge works again and as you can imagine I am over the bloody moon:hyper: Just cosmetics to do now.
  24. WELL? Was the lip balm any good?
  25. I have this same problem mine is not a dry joint though as I have just put a new cluster in and the chances of them being buggered too is pretty thin? I will let you know if and when I get it done what to do mate.
