Scotty is right. I started a thread the other day and got not a single reply asking for a bit of advice about tyres. Ok no probs i have done my own research. Yet look at the responce to the naked drive through west london racing a ZED against a fiesta got? I am sure Indian is a real nice bloke. and I appologise (AGAIN) if I have ever upset him. But what is that all about? And you wonder about the quality of the site. Having been a "victim" and an "aggressor" I think i am entitled to an opinion.

OK its my turn now...... I was the subject of part of Spinksy's rant. you all know that by now. I did get the right hump because i was jumped on at first and felt like a tw@ at the time. I was as some of you know stating information that i had been fed and was totally innocent of the fact. I didnt know any better? I took it on the nose and ended up becoming good mates with the main aggressor. But I have to say this to all of you that agree with Spinksy. If you chat 5hit then what do you expect? We all know who the main subject is and I aint affraid to say it. IndianZX? But lets face the facts and get real. You keep saying that its becoming an unfriendly place. Well that might have something to do with the sort of people that have "Registered" lately. Some who seem like kids. So what do you want then? No humour just serious car talk. well if that being the case I'm off. Fook that I want a bit of humour and light hearted fun. OK I havent been here long but we all got to start somewhere. BUT! I like lots of others Pay for the privilege. Any tw@ can come on this site cuase a big row and pi55 off without any worry. IMO. thats where the problem lies. not with the reactions to certain posts but to the quality of members. Sorry but thats my views. like them or not. I like it too. I quite like scoobies aswell in that colour. The gold wheels would make it look better. Its a ZED whatever colour it is though. Its like saying you wouldnt like a white woman in a sari.

Two questions Mac... 1/. What terminal speed did you reach? 2/. How do you feel you would stand from a standing start over say 1 mile? BTW. well done I never doubted the beast for one minute. Nice to hear that the bike didnt get the edge for the first part. The nearest I have had to that was about a 300 yard run in with a R6 from about 40 MPH and my car left him behind. I was supprised and my other half was furious. She was in the car with me. Giving it "you just couldnt leave it could you?" Vince.

When I got my "everyday car" I was thinking about getting a manual 300ZX and having both? Not to be greedy but I thought the manual would make a better everyday car? You see threads all the time saying how the auto is weaker than the manual and how the manual is faster and so on. It can infact do your fookin head in? I didnt get one I got a Volvo. My auto dosent get a lot of use. (intentionally) and runs fine with no major problems yet. If its treated good it will be good. I hope. :rofl:

I agree with you BUT I think they should at least lift the restriction at night? There is nothing worse than having to do 40MPH when there are 3 perfectly good lanes and no one working at that time?

Its been posted on here somewhere and announced on Top Gear that the police have said they are not installing any more speed traps/cameras. But i have seen new ones on the M1 near leicester and new ones on the M6 at stoke and M6 Coventry side of Brum? and thats all in the last 2 or 3 weeks? I know nothing can be done about it but WTF is going on in this 5hite country full of lieing cooonts? The cameras are those p0xy ones that count you in and then count you out and average the speed you were doing.

When i was working in the edinburgh area I flew up and rented a ven up there. It cost me £40 on the plane and it took 55 minutes. all in all just over 3 hours door to door. I fookin love the 21st century.

I dont know where you live chris. To be honest if it was in Edinburgh I would fly up from Luton. if its in Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds. even Newcastle I will drive up. But like Paul said its only once a year and if members cant be bothered then its their problem. those of us who do turn up will have a ball anyway. wherever it is. So let me know when it is and I will book the time off irrespective of where.

Firstly that fence looks like a good place to stick a sign "Polite notice. Drive constantly in use. No Parking" If that dont do the job paint it on the kerb "No parking" If that dont work get a cheap motion sensor and wire it to a flashing light and not too loud alarm. I did all 3. People soon got the message. Vandals fooked the motion sensor eventually.

Further more................ Its OK choosing the venue but what about some dates? That might be more important?

Hinkley is east of Brum Mark and if you check it out mate. quite accessable from the M69 which is junctioned from the M1 north and north east and the south and south east from the M6 aswell for north west and south west via the M5 it isnt far from the M42 which is a continuation of the M40 for west Londoners and the south. So there you go. IMO Manchester is too far to the north west to make it central. (Phew) The real middle would be more like Leeds?
