My oil pessure gauge has a mind of its own It has lazy days and sometimes it as crazy days............BUT!............I would check first before you go thrashing the ar5e off it that the oil pressure is good and it is a faulty gauge or you will hear a very loud crunching noise followed swiftly with a big bang. :)

When you are in the car have you tried pushing the lock on the drivers door which in turn should lock both? This will at least tell you if the problem is local or the remote?? HTH vini

That is total madness. and IMO you will never reep the benfits of that much work unless you have an OCD of course. Non the less the car looked fabulous. :)

About this 99 spec thing that was mentioned? Am I right in saying that if the car is sold as a UK car then you can import at once. But for a car that is no longer produced for the UK market but is still on sale elswhere then the report has to be done or its a 10 year waiting game??? Thanks vini

Not if its a HD failure. Sometimes you shut down and for some stupid reason it looses a file or 2 and unless you have a re-install disc for that OS it is lost mate. BUT! there can be so many different reasons for this to happen. I had a HD go down and managed to recover it and it went again and I did so again but it didnt last very long. The best policy is to get another HD and they aint too expensive about £40-£60 quid for a decent sized item. I am not sure but will have a look to see if my son has a spare ready installed with XP that I can send you bud. Give me 15 mins and I'll find out?

An alternative is if you find someone to help they could set up your old HD as a slave on their PC then dump all your important files onto their HD then zip the lot and later transfer it back to your new HD. As far as the OS the best way is either I will send you an XP disc that I dont use anymore. Not a pirate :) Its a boxed item, install it onto the new HD and away you go mate? I had this a few times over the years. The best course of action IMO is buy another HD install your OS on it set the old one as a slave and import everything you need onto the new HD. Then throw the old one away or at least destroy it.

I had the same sort of thing. i ordered a SET of plugs for my sons lexus is200 and got only 4 plugs???? dont they know??

Here are some boring pix of my car in a state is sanded and filled but its getting there. My mate is helping but I have decided to do most of the work myself (get my hand in) and when it comes to the spraying, well I am going to have a go at that too. Nothing wrong with trying a new thing is there? Anyway I will feel better if I do it myself it sort of goes with the whole theme as I have done everything else myself :)

I saw some photo's of a BMW 645 and it was silver with a red leather and black interior and it made me come over all funny. It was the dogs B's and looked like pure luxury. So IMO yes it worlks well. See.................
